WHICH MEANS IN A GRID DOWN SITUATION YOU JUST DOUBLE YOUR YOUR SUPPLY OF BATTERIES BY JUST HAVING TO ONLY USE “ONE”! Good basic flashlight
This is your regular old point and light flashlight. It isn't real bright and doesn't do all kinds of flashing features, but it's easy to use and feels good in the hand. It uses a D-cell battery which is not a size I normally keep on hand, so this is not a flashlight I can use for my natural disaster emergency kit since I would want to have backup batteries there. Other than that, they are fine.

These flashligyhts work beautifully
These flashlights do not require space on a charging deck, therefore, if they don't work all you need to do is to put in new batteries...shades of 1950!!! They are perfect for my needs.
