Is this stone completely removeable from the plastic case and base?

Unlike the Japanese Stones,this stone has no base be it wooden or plastic. With regards to the case it is a simple snap lock case for storing the stone ,the stone can be removed easily when you need to work and easily put back for storing.Truly a good stone for the job it's needed for. Good for all handy men who need a smooth mirror finish.BTW this is also a good stone for kosher butchers ( shochtim) If you know how to use it well you can go to the green stone direct from the Norton 8000Much success
