Coutura Men's Radio Sync Solar Chronograph Watch

Received the watch today. Acquired sufficient charge to operate in less than two hours. The watch automatically set the correct time to UTC. Following the simple procedure to adjust for local time was easy and seeing the watch make the adjustment was fascinating. I have a small wrist and was concerned it might look out of place but looks just fine. Speaking of looks: As mentioned in another review, "the photo does not do it justice." This watch is as beautiful as any gem could be. My only doubt is whether Seiko will honor the warrantee if a problem would occur. Their registration information specifically states that the warrantee card must be filled out by an "authorized dealer" and the card as shipped from Amazon is not filled out. In the event I experience any difficulty, I will update this review. However, I am the owner of several Seiko watches collected over many years and all function flawlessly except for a thiry-plus year old self-winder. This watch, SSG 021, is all black. I am considering the purchase of an SSG 010 in stainless with gold accents as a companion piece.

The watch is absolutely fantastic. I would say, compared to my Bulova and Tag watches the band is a little ,"cheap". However, it is absolutely beautiful, and not a problem. I think I am just used to a more solid bracelet. The watch itself is fantastic. I live in North Carolina and the adjustment for daylight savings time was super easy based on YouTube videos available. I love that the date is always accurate and it is a sharp looking watch. I have received many compliments from clients and colleagues. Consider adding this one to your collection!!!

Beautiful timepiece, and after a day or two it synced with the Ft. Collins clock and all is good now. I say that as it is critical to make sure the battery is 100% charged and you're good to go! Quick hack on how to fix the band if you don't have the fancy tools ... 2 things: SIM card remover tool and a small flat head screwdriver. The SIM card tool is ideal size to push the pin out. Flat head helps with pushing the pin in and for fine control just give it a little love with the SIM tool ... and in 10-15 mins you're done. Super happy I got this watch finally and at a great deal considering it's floated between 750 and 1000 bucks for several years depending where you went to look for it.

I ordered this watch from the Netherlands, because this is an USA model. First, the packaging of Amazon should be much better than an bubble envelope. My box was actually damaged, luckily my watch not. At first glance, it’s such a beautiful watch! Then i start to figure out how it supposed to work. That’s rather difficult while finding the manual only online. It didn’t had reception the first day, but i let it charge en search it’s way the first night when it searches signal. The next day time and date were almost correct: it was exactly 1 hour off. And to this day it is, so i instead of utc+1 locked it on +utc2. I don’t know why it does this, but it works correctly now. Also worth mentioning: the watch appears to be more ‘gun metal’ colour than black. Very beautiful, maybe even better!

Really really nice watch. Adjusted via radio sync almost immediately upon opening the box and exposing it to light. Looks really great on, my dad switched to wearing this watch after wearing the last Seiko for over 20 years and vowing to never wear another watch...its THAT good. The weight of the watch feels significant like it's light but great quality. Highly recommend. You will more than likely need the watch adjusted so be prepared to remove at least 2 links.

A great watch for daily wear. Not too bulky. The bracelet flows very nice. I like that its solar and i dont have to worry about a battery. I really like that it sets itself and i never have to worry about the accuracy. I have another Coutura and enjoy them both equally. Seiko watches are unbeatable for the money

Love the styling and the solar charging is a great feature as there is no need to do anything other than making sure it gets at least some light throughout the day. Also, being in San Antonio TX, there is radio reception of the Denver Atomic Clock during the automated setting times. If you have issues with reception, there are apps that emulate the signal for your smartphone. I’m not sure how it works, but it does (do your own homework to verify). The only negative, is the inability to do fine size adjustments, I’m in between too large and too small for my wrist. Other than the sizing, I’m very pleased with this watch.

The watch looks great. It can be used as dress watch but also casual. I like the world clock option too. It synced the time and date by itself in less than 2 mins, just by holding the left top button for 3sec. Nice watch to have and wear.

Lover this watch - my 1st Seiko. I have Bulova, Omega, Citizen, Casio and I think this is my new favorite watch. Good Quality, Looks better in person, pictures dont do it justice, the Metal is like a Dark charcoal Grey or gun metal grey its not black. But the Dark Grey with the blue accents looks great Sapphire crystal glass is amazing, Date can be read clearly and also the hour n minute hands and the 12 0'clock position have the lumi brite for night visibility and its very readable in the dark. Overall good purchase. Cant go wrong with a Made in Japanese Movement, Solar Power(never have to change battery), sapphire crystal

Tenía tiempo queriendo un Seiko, pues era la marca de mi padre. Y elegí para ello mi primer reloj atómico. Es precioso. Temía que lo sintiera más pesado o voluminoso que los bulova o citizen, pero es perfecto. Hay comentarios divididos en cuanto a la configuración. En mi caso fue sumamente fácil. Sólo elegir la ubicación y listo. El mecanismo hizo el resto. Hay dos cosas a considerar, que en nada influyen en mi calificación de 5 estrellas, pero quizá a alguien le interese: 1. El segundero "tradicional" (manecilla larga) no se mueve. Funciona sólo como cronómetro y/o selección de hora mundial. 2. El extensible no tiene ajuste en el broche. Tuve la suerte de que me ajustara perfectamente con un recorte. La verdad, estoy muy satisfecho con este nuevo reloj. Lo recomiendo? Vaya que sí!

Another amazing product from Seiko! Beautiful watch...took a few minutes (well, maybe a half hour) to figure everything out, but time has automatically set, as well as date, and band has been shortened. I'm gonna get tendonitis from twisting my wrist checking the watch out all the time LoL 😆 (can ya tell I really like this watch?)

El nivel de detalle es hermoso porque es elegante pero no muy llamativo, es algo que aprecio y disfruto.
