Review: Great quality and great fun! - I live in Finland and bought two decks for our family. My husband and 10-year old son love them and ride a lot. They tell me boards are good quality and lots of fun. They spend endless amounts of time on our small backyard slope practicing curves, small drops, and looking cool in general. They even ordered safety leashes and plan to try an actual downhill skiing place. They skateboard during the summers, and this extends their season to winter. They tell me the boards work nicely in different weather and snow - you just need to adapt the riding style accordingly. They have so much fun that maybe I need to order one for myself too.

**Q: Can you board slide rails and boxes with breaking the bottom??**
A: Since I am the 74 yr. old Grammie who bought this for my 14 yr. old grandson, I can't really answer that. Sorry....

**Q: Where do you attach the leash? And is it provided? Ski areas wont let these be used without a leash.**
A: There are tip and tail holes for attaching the leash.  The leash is not included.

**Q: What’s the griptape made of? Will it just get super slick after one use like an old deck with regular grip?**
A: The grip tape is not really like a sandpaper material it’s a foam pad. If you brush the snow off and use rubber shoes it is pretty grippy but not like a regular skateboard deck!

**Q: how does this compare to an ambition snowskate, with tricks as well as riding?**
A: Hi Ryan,

It is much easier to turn, while still allowing for flip tricks and all the other skateboard tricks. It's also faster than standard single deck snowskates.

I made the employees at the local ski hill jealous when I made the first tracks of the season on this thing. If you're in an area that doesn't have perfectly formed mega jumps, you can make the most out of small hills on this fun toy. It's a beast on groomers and it can handle a few inches of powder. Super easy to hike with and comfortable to sit on when you get to the top. This is a reasonable option for someone who wants to get into snow skating for cheap-ish. I've taken it to the mountain about 20 times this season and it has held up just fine. I weigh ~170lbs. It's gotten me stoked on snow skating enough to want to upgrade to a Hovland.
