Hint for best installation
Amazing product! I wish it was sold in local stores though! Hint: Buy cheap wire at hardware store and install with one turn buckle. Use "Sun screen fabric locking clips" to attach 15 foot side to wire. AMAZING results! P.S. I had to order a second Sun Sail to overlap - needed two to provide enough shade.

Great Value-Great Sun Coverage
I needed coverage for my back patio as I live in Palm Springs and it gets hot! hot! hot! during the summertime. My dogs love this patio, but I was afraid to let them out during our brutal summer months for fear that our pavers would burn their paws (it can get to 110 here and above). I bought a large patio umbrella and it gave some coverage, but not nearly enough. I had a sail shade at my previous place, but the roof there was the same height throughout. At my current place the roof changes heights dramatically (see attached photo). I didn't want too much of a "ripple" effect so a square or rectangular shade wasn't an option. A standard triangle shade would have worked, but I wouldn't have received as much coverage as I desired. I started searching for Isosceles Triangle sail shades and than ultimately stumbled upon a better search team, "Right Angle Sail Shade". The first ones I saw were from an Australian company and while they seemed to be nice, they were more than I wanted to spend. Than I came across the California Sun Shade Sail Right Triangle. At less than $30 the price was a steal. The last obstacle was whether the shade would work. I say this because unlike a square, rectangle or standard triangle shaped shade, this one has different dimensions (15 x 12 x 9). I wasn't sure if one side of the of the shade was intended to point upwards (towards the sky) for proper UV protection. Fortunately, I asked a question about this and the manufacturer quickly posted an answer letting me know that the shade could be mounted either way regardless of side. I purchased the "BlueDot Trading Sail Shade Hardware" to go along with it. The shade well exceeded my expectations. IMO it looks great, but I'll let you look at the finished product photo I've attached to be the judge. ******As another benefit there is less sun coming in through my sliding glass doors. I used to have to put the window blinds down because the heat coming in would turn on my air conditioner constantly. So not only do I have a nicely covered patio, my dogs can head out there anytime and I'm sure I'm saving some money on the A/C not running as much. Very happy!

Excellent shade accessory for your deck
I hung one of these at the left side of my deck and another on the right side. The extra shade it adds to the deck is awesome. The only trouble with these kinds of sun shades is mounting; I used eye-hooks, where added hooks just below the soffit on the right/left sides of the deck, and then put eye-hooks twenty feet out into the siding on the house. The sun shades mount directly on the eye hooks at the soffit level, then I use rope to connect to the eye-hooks in the siding; this allows you to pull out any slack after the shades get rained on and stretch a little.Other than being a little problematic to install (which is an issue with any brand/kind of sun shade), these sun shades are well manufactured and look great.

Just Perfect!
With the dimensions of this shade sail we feel like it was custom made for us, our south facing living room window and our front porch would get so hot before. Now we can enjoy even the hot days!

Fit perfectly in our L-shaped front yard.
This fit perfectly along the front of our home. We had a 13 x13 x 13 which didn't quite work out with the shape of the house. The right angle shaped sail fit perfectly in the gap left by the 13 x 13 x 13. I ordered the walnut and it looks great with the existing shade even though each sail was made by different manufactures. The only issue that I had with this one is that doesn't come with any rope or mounting hardware. I needed to go find a little bit of rope for one corner.Update on 7/26/2017: Since this is in the front of the home, it is visible from the street. We've only had positive reviews from our neighbors. Two neighbors want to do the same thing. One has the same floor plan as ours and the other wants to hang the shade sail in the backyard off the kitchen. We also have experienced a huge drop in glare and heat through the windows. Our front porch is very nice to sit on and with the sails makes it feel larger and more of an extension of the house like another room. The garage has been cooler too. By the way, we have SunSetter freestanding retractable awning in the back yard of the house. It is heavy and not easily moved, birds make nests in it every year and cost a lot of money. We enjoy having it and it makes a huge different having it in our yard, but we probably could have done about the same thing with just a sail shade or two.

Been up a week, and no issues.
I have had the shade installed for a week now and so far everything has been great. The first night it was up a windstorm came through with some decent gusts of wind and the shade held up. No damage to deltas on the edge or the fabric. As for the comfort level in the shade, I measured a 20 degree difference in the areas in the sun versus under the shade, so I am very happy about that. It does not retain water above it, the water drains through the fabric. I would have liked to have know that the deltas were located outside of the sun shades dimensions that were listed on the product review. I used it to cover a patio with specific dimensions, so having the deltas located outside of the shade made it larger and I could not make the shade as tight as I originally intended.

Pretty good
We like this shade. It does what is says it will do and seems durable. Note however that it does require an area much larger than the shade itself to install properly. We installed over the deck out back, but tried using existing structures to support it, rather than installing its own posts. Given the shape (equilateral triangle) your anchor points need to also form a similar triangle in order to properly tension each side. Other than the installation difficulties, we're happy with it.

Easy to manage and looks very nice
We had a hard time finding a suitably sized triangle shaped shade sail with a right angle triangle; we want it to cover a right angle corner. Most of them seem to be equilateral triangles. This one fits the bill nicely. It provides very nice shade and after one season it seems like it should last a long time. We liked it so much we decided to buy another but when we went to purchase the price had more than doubled, which tempered our enthusiasm for a spare. I definitely recommend this product but would suggest you watch what vendor you buy from and watch the price.

Works and looks good
I bought two of these. They are not exactly the same in terms of their shape. One of them always seem to have a "lip" hanging on the longest side. It is not really a problem because aside from that first time you never really look at it again. It shades the sun really well without making it dark. I imagine darker colors would also block a bit more light. I wanted it to be bright, so this worked well for me.Rain drips right through it, which I find to be a plus - no need to worry about water run-off and etc. We had heavy rains and there was a little accumulation, but not enough to cause a concern. It would be handy if it came with some ropes to stretch it - other products do that - but again, that is not difficult to solve. It does what it is supposed to do and it looks nice.

Sun filter vs sun shade.
Very well made shade sails with reinforced anchor points. They don't block all the sun and I found it still a little warm under them. The sun was also bright on the eyes under the sail and at times I found myself looking to shade my eyes. More of a sun filter than a shade I believe. Will depend on what your needs are. Rain runs through them which is good and they are light enough that they will float in the wind. Easy to install I found with the designated stainless steel hardware kit.

The cover blocks the right amount of sun where it's still nice and bright under
This was exactly what we were looking for to cover our Pergola. Without it, the intensity of the sun would beam right down on us, but now we're able to sit out under our Pergola even when the sun is at it's peak. The cover blocks the right amount of sun where it's still nice and bright under. Wasn't sure with it laying on top like that, whether the water was going to accumulate or thread through. Material is such, water will drain right through. Will definitely buy again when we change our color scheme.

Great price, great shade, good buy
This item was a last minute buy to provide shade for a party on our new deck. LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this sun shade. It worked like a dream, it provides shade, looks great when installed. A few days after installing we had rain, snow and sleet. The rain ran thru the shade it pooled at the lowest point and slow dripped. The snow melts thru. We did however take it down when the sleet started to accumulate on it.The day of the party was hot and sunny and it stood up to the day of sun providing cooking shade. We got a lot of compliments on the sun shade. It was a good buy, so far it has severe its purpose we shall see how it does for the rest of the season.

Great sunscreen, doesn't stop a shower though!
Works great! Filters out about half the sunshine, letting in enough light. The 4 anchors (one on each corner) work well and are strongly constructed , but perhaps some eyelets along the perimeter would be a good idea to reduce movement by the wind.

Good enough for what I needed
Even under tension, the long "hypotenuse" edge is a bit floppy. Doesn't cause any problems in practice though, and it looks good, so 4 stars. Price seemed pretty reasonable for what you get.

Great quality and design
Great quality and design. The rings on the four corners made this super easy for me to hang and it does an amazing job of blocking out the sun.

Great for the backyard.
Exactly as expected. Used over a pool to keep the sun off my children. Must purchase fasteners elsewhere.
