Finally - a protein powder that doesn’t suck. No after (or under) taste. Subtle, not too sweet, or fakey taste. Blends smoothly in Greek yoghurt, applesauce, or in recipes. Other reviews haven’t liked the container lid, but I suspect it helps to keep the contents fresher for longer. I don’t mind prying up the lid in exchange for preserving the quality. Only criticism: I wish it came with a measuring scoop. Will keep it on my Subscribe & Save.

Okay people, I've tried A LOT of protein powders. I've done plant protein and whey proteins - both of which I use, although the evidence is clear that whey protein is best absorbed and utilized for muscle repair. Therefore, I've been on the look-out for the best tasting, high-quality whey and this is it! It blends amazing with everything and has the best taste for any protein I've had. I love that it only uses stevia and that their whey comes from the grass-fed cows of New Zealand. Love it, need it, recommend it!

Started with Gnarly's BCAA looking to move to more natural supps and moved on to the protein powder. Really liking this product. PROS: 1) Solid taste. Not overwhelmingly, chemically-shocking, vanilla. 2) Very filling. Useful as snack/exchange on non-workout days. On workout days, a shake an hour-ish before a tough session keeps me full through till the end (I know, everyone caloric needs differ). 3) Smooth mix. Once shaken (see below), very smooth and drinkable. Virtually no chunkage. 4) Good mixer. I've added coffee, PB, fruit ... all tastes good mixed with the vanilla. Again, not over-powered vanilla. CONS: 1) Tough mixer. Really gotta work-up a pump to get it mixed thoroughly. Once mixed, see above! 2) Value. At $51 a container, seems a tad pricey for a 2 lbs container with 20 servings (roughly$2.55/serving). There are other powders cheaper with almost double the servings. FINAL: All-in-all, I'll be sticking with the Gnarly brand for the foreseeable future. Good grass-fed, whey protein that taste good, taste less artificial that other brands, and (so far) has been a banging protein supp. The cost is annoying, but frankly, i'm the type who will pay a little more for something I deem as a quality product.

I was looking for a protein powder that would work well and came highly recommended and this one delivers! I have purchased this twice and anticipate more to support my resistance workouts. Great product!

Came in a plastic bag instead of the steel tins that Gnarly made such a big deal about switching to. No plastic scoop...because they want to reduce plastic, but then they ship their product in a plastic bag. I am disappointed.

When I first found this whey, i mixed it with almond butter and a milk substitute. I found that I was getting bloated beyond belief, and thought I had an issue with the whey powder. Fast forward a few years, i discovered my real issue was with almonds, so I thought I would try this again. This is the second tub I’ve gotten in a few months.I now mix this powder with water, coffee that I make into ice cubes, and a little bit of powdered peanut butter (not almond butter!). I think it tastes delicious and no milk or milk substitute required. I find that it really satiates me and tastes great. It’s also a great replacement for getting a daily coffee drink, so that’s great too. Really glad that I don’t have a problem digesting this whey, since I am so sensitive to many things, and this is the best tasting chocolate protein powder I’ve tried.

The actual product is great - quality ingredients, good flavor, and it dissolves easily. However, they chose to put it in an asinine package where you have to punch through sharp foil and rip or fold it back. I have now cut myself twice on their dumb packaging. Why not just have a foil top that pulls off like everyone else?
