Where is it made? the name makes a person think that it is made in the usa.

Sorry, not sure but it's very nice and the base is plenty heavy (about 11 pounds) so if any pets & kids are around, it's very safe.

Good lamp, though maybe not the best for reading (that could just be the bulb I'm using).

Works fine and fits the style of my office. The shade's a little narrow, so the light doesn't cast as far as it might. Decent price.
