Perfect for its purpose. I bought this for my baby’s room and it’s absolutely perfect it blocking out light. It’s really easy to install with the magnets and additional mounting Velcro and easily to cut to size. Only thing I do say is use your own sizers or cutting knife as the plastic cutting tools is Poor. Withe the magnets set on the blinds it’s really easy to pop up and down at a moments notice. I’ve had no problems to far with the adhesion coming loose which is great to see. Value wise I recommend this is the best durable/flexible (size wise) your going to get at this price point. All in all would recommend.

Like everyone else I have suffered through the past heatwave and with news of more coming felt the need to do something extra. I have been using sun blocking curtains and they work well but in the evening there is a wall of heat in the window aperture that has to be dispelled. I decided to try these thinking the magnets would make moving or opening them easier. I was right! These are a doddle to put up and the magnets snap together beautifully. I used one magnet at the corner of each window pane and cut the fabric easily to fit then attached the magnetic plates and Bob's your uncle! I installed blinds to each window so I can still open them during early morning and late evening without disturbing the blackout. I had so much fabric left over that I can easily do another window although I used all the magnets on the first. However I bought a set of magnetic fasteners for around a fiver and will use them. Magnets are definitely the way to go. My windows are now darker and the room felt cooler as I installed them. The fabric is quite thin but seems tough so I think with care you will get more than a single season out of this pack.

We have a new build property which is built to retain heat and our plot is a sun trap, the bedroom temperature was reaching 38/39 degrees, which was unbearable, we installed these in each room upstairs and it made a massive improvement. It was easy to install, we simply cut to size. One pack did one bedroom and half of another so we had a quite a large sheet of material. The magnet connections make it easy for us to pull off and put on again. The material is relatively thin, but it blocks the light out quite well. Although it doesn’t look the prettiest, it doesn’t job!

Perfect blackout for windows - we use them in our young son's room and it's made it really dark in the summer when the sun would usually be streaming in. Enables him to go to bed early and sleep later in the mornings. Easy to cut to size and fix the magnets - just have to make sure you don't cut too small and leave a little overlap at the edges. Can be quickly taken down and put up each night in a few seconds - definitely worth the money.

These actually work! Extremely easy to put up (install) and work well and quickly. Room temperature dropped by 2° within 15mins of installation. You WILL need to iron the blinds before cutting to size and then hanging.

If I could give this PVC material less stars I would. As soon as the material gets hot it emits more heat than the glass without anything. Yes, it makes the room dark but rubbish for keeping the room cool - don’t waste your money.

Really easy to cut, to assemble and it’s so handy to put up and down everyday. The light blocking is also really good - good quality as well. Totally recommend

Excellent package, includes plenty of velcro and magnets, making it very easy to apply as most suitable for your circumstances. Also.included was a kind of cutter so that you could trim the sheet to the required size. A very nice and effective kit.

My home office (aren’t we all working from home most of the time nowadays?) is great but there’s a set of glass doors next to the desk, so when I attend a zoom meeting half my face is completely whited out. That might be a good look for many people, not so much for me. This thing is very simple and it works. It’s very easy to quickly attach the curtain to block out the sun and off you go. My face is back! Again, not a great look…

In den letzten Tagen sind natürlich die Temperaturen extrem angestiegen. Da ich zum Überfluß auch noch im Dachgeschoß wohne, musste endlich eine Lösung her. Was macht man also? Ja man guckt auf Amazon nach Ventilatoren, aber was bringt einem ein Ventilator, wenn die Sonne ab Mittags auf die Fenster scheint und dadurch die Zimmer und Wände extrem aufheizen!? Daher dachte ich mir, guckst du mal nach Rollos für deine Dachfenster, aber wie befästigst du die den, bei einem Dachfenster das auch noch schräg ist? Was basteln wollte ich jetzt nicht, daher einfach mal geguckt was es so für Alternativen gibt und bin auf die Verdunklungsfolie gestoßen. Schön und optimal mit Magneten, so das man nicht noch extra etwas bohren oder basteln muss. Ich habs daher einfach mal bestellt, da ich endlich die Wärme loswerden wollte. Hab mir die 3 Meter lange variante bestellt, da ich zwei Fenster verdunkeln wollte und so noch Platz für fehler hätte. Kam noch am gleichen Abend an und hab es dann am nächsten Morgen montiert. Die Folie kam mit ausreichender Anzahl an Magneten, einigen Klettklebestreifen, ein Schneidemesser wie auch einer mehrsprachigen Anleitung. Die Folie hat eine Silber seite, die die Sonne reflektieren soll und einer Schwarzen seite für Innen, damit es auch schön dunkel wird. Für das zuschneiden der Folie, sollte man etwas Zeit einplanen, sofern man es auch ordentlich und bündig haben möchte. Auch dadurch, das die 3 Meter Folie sehr lang und etwas sperrig ist. Ich habe für das ordentlich zuschneiden und montieren der zwei Fenster alleine, etwas mehr wie 1,5h gebraucht. Wichtig, bevor ihr die Magnete montiert, reinigt die Stellen damit die Klebefolie der Magnete auch richtig haften kann. Nach der Montage der Folie, fühlt es sich direkt kühler und angenehmer an. Damit kann der richtige Sommer gerne kommen, ich bin vorbereitet! Ich kann die Folie bestens empfehlen. In dem Sinne, gönne ich mir jetzt ein kaltes Getränk und wünsche euch gutes gelingen.

Takes a little bit to install it. I use the magnet system so you can pull it back off the magnets and stick it right back up blocks out all the sunlight. Keep your room cool in the summer does take a little bit of time to put it up but worth it
