This was solved through a combination of disabling IPv6 to the outside world (still enabled internally in our building to allow Home Assistant/thread to work) and by changing WAN/Internet Detection to PPP Echo, PPP Echo Interval to 30 and PPP Echo Max Failures to 5. Update: Mea culpa. I had not found the US to UK adapter in the packaging. Supplier has immediately offered to take back the router with refund hence the change in rating. Correspondence with them easy and timely. Their support merits a 5-star rating. We never came close to this with our older ORBI units. 85 devices on our network, most WiFi but a few wired Ethernet. Simultaneous video calls from multiple computers, streaming, gaming…all perfect. Very customizable. Stable, secure, reliable. Take the time to research the best configuration for your usage. With our 5GB fiber service, we could turn off many of the CPU intensive “extras” like QoS and some of the Trend Micro apps that add nothing but degrade performance. Money and time well spent. Highly recommend. We have two on opposite sides of the house downstairs, wired backhaul. 1 more upstairs, center of house, MLO backhaul.
