i've always been impressed with Hot Wheels brand cars. 50 years ago i had them as a kid and today my grandkids have them. the detail is amazing for such a small car. Stick with Hot Wheels or Matchbox branded cars and you can't go wrong. they will last very long when compared to the cheap cars out there.
