It’s winter here in Oklahoma and it’s in the teens, so I decided to keep it indoors until Spring. It was wet, so I didn’t water it. It felt dry the next day and I gave it a good watering. The water seems to just run right through the pot out the bottom. I kept it in the original pot. No instructions came with it! I googled on how to grow a Gardenia! Lol! Still doing good. It’s by a sunny window and off to the side so it’s not direct sunlight. Just like Google said it needed.But it is getting some of it. I waited another few days and it felt dry and I noticed a few of the leaves looking dull. I watered it just a little. Next day the soil was dry, so I watered it a little more. The leaves are now are all dried up and falling off it! I’m going to remove all the dead leaves and transplant it in a regular pot in hopes that it will grow new leaves and come back to life. It’s 10 degrees outside, so I can’t put it outdoors! I wish they would have sent instructions on how to keep it alive! Not the best start to this! Maybe a grow light would work.
