Seems to work ok, the converter is a little clumsy to use though

Marketed as a Zilkee but it's not and appears to be a Chinese knock off....sale of goods act applies here....clearly being miss sold.....paid £40....looks cheap.....probably doesn't work but not tried yet.....in a nutshell.....don't bother.

I got mine this week. Had a boxful of old laptops that I had accumulated over the last few decades. I didn't want to throw them out because my child was part of that in between generation where we no longer had our pics printed out but the cloud didn't exist yet and I knew most of her life was on those hard drives. Sat down this afternoon and knocked them all out even though some of the drives were 25+ years old and nothing newer than 15. A couple of the hard drives came up with an error but my computer prompted to repair and every single laptop has now successfully been copied over. Couple of things I wouldn't call negatives but just "nice to knows" for better understanding of how to use.1 - several of my hard drives, once taken out of the laptop, had a type of converter that you have to take off to find the pins that line up. It's not obvious so just try gently pulling on it.2 - on the 2.5 not all the pins need to go in. I had to move several of the hard drives off to one end leaving a cluster of pins not being inserted at the other3 - if it turns out you have the converter attachment over your pins, pull it off slowly and as straight out as possible so as not to bend the pins. If you do bend the pins, gently bend them back so they'll insert correctlyOverall, easy to use. Fair value for the functionality. Would recommend.

giving 1 because it is the lowest possible. this is junk and over priced. worked for split second. my bad that did not test straight away and no way to supplier that gives only 30-days warrantee unlike other equivalent that have 12-months. DO NOT BUY

I purchased this drive several months ago as additional storage. and backup of my 30 years of files, pictures and whatever else I need to store. The drive interface cable connects to my computer via type USB or C port adapters, so it is easy to connect. I have connected to multiple old PC's, so I have over 30 years of data. So far it has been fast and reliable. For the money it was a very good purchase.

Did kit work on it old seagate back up drives. Both of them would not tune on. Hooked it upCorrectly….not that it’s hard to mess up….nothing. Did work on my old laptop hard drive
