I bought this and the stainless steel blades for scoring my sourdough. It’s great to hold and the slider is easy to use. Great product.

I've had a similar knife, that I use daily, for years but unfortunately I lost the top of it and now the blade tends to come out. So I needed to replace it but all the others I'd seen were the plastic ones, which are a bit thicker. I was really delighted to find this one, it's perfect - nice and slimline and fits well in my breast pocket alongside my pen. It's all stainless steel and really sleek looking. The 9mm blade comprises of 13 snap off pieces so there's always a sharp edge readily available. There are also 2 spare blades enclosed. Excellent value for money and great to use. I'd certainly recommend this for anyone who needs a reliable blade that will last for years.

This was to replace the snap knife that had been in my kitchen for odd jobs for over a decade but met its match against a particularly sturdy laminate box. The blade is slim and compact fitting neatly and discreetly into the pen jar on my kitchen counter. It is always handy then for opening mail, boxes, food packets, plastic seals on jars etc. The blade is very sharp and the case is sturdy and comfortable to use.

I wanted a small sharp knife for electrical work - to cut through insulation for stripping wires etc. (I hate using actual cable strippers). I wanted something smaller and with a finer blade than a standard "Stanley knife". I ordered this one, and one of the SAC-1 Graphics knives, by the same manufacturer Olfa SAC-1 Slimline Stainless Steel Graphics Knife . I find the SVR-2 better suited to my uses - although I am surprised to feel any difference. It almost as if this knife has a keener edge. I use it particularly to cut around the insulation of a wire without damaging the copper or silver strands inside, and then slide of the unwanted section of insulation (ie stripping the wire). I don't know why, but I found that the SVR-2 gives me a cleaner, quicker cut than the SAC-1. As an added bonus, the SVR-2 came with two spare blades that I was not expecting. Another unexpected feature is the metal pocket clip that is a part of the knife body. Other manufacturers sometimes provide a plastic clip that slides into the end of the knife as a sort of stopper - and has to be removed to replace the blade. This metal clip is much more secure - both because it is an integral part of the knife, and also because it is metal. If you need a small sharp "modelling" knife - then I would definitely recommend this manufacturer and this model in particular.

Olfa SVR-2 Slimline Stainless Steel knife, I ordered this as I needed something long and sharp to cut away excess expanding foam which filled gaps between my ceiling and walls, when I opened the box it was more smaller and dainty than I imagined but I put it to work, going gently, not brute forcing any cuts and it did the job, my walls and ceilings in my study are prepped and ready to be plastered now, in hindsight I maybe should have got a slightly bigger item, but hey I got the job done, no complaints! Well built, I bought extra blades just in case I needed them

Je m'en sers tous les jours pour ouvrir des paquets il est compact, tiens bien en main, coupe bien et avec ce corps métallique, cela peut en faire l'unique achez de ce style. Foncez !

Ho acquistato questo cutter Olfa SVR-2 con lama da 9 mm e ne sono rimasto molto soddisfatto. Il taglierino è estremamente leggero, ma allo stesso tempo trasmette una sensazione di solidità e buona progettazione grazie al corpo metallico. Si impugna bene ed è preciso nei movimenti. Ottimo il sistema di scorrimento della lama con blocco automatico: una volta regolata la lunghezza tramite il pulsante orizzontale, la lama resta perfettamente stabile, senza arretrare durante l’uso. Durante il taglio la lama non vibra e mantiene una buona rigidità, permettendo tagli puliti e precisi. La lama fornita di serie è già ben affilata e taglia con grande fluidità. Non conoscevo il marchio Olfa, ma dopo questa esperienza lo considero sicuramente un’ottima marca da tenere in considerazione per futuri acquisti di taglierini. Prodotto consigliato.

Ein Cutter, welches die Klinge arretiert. Hatte vorher welche, wo sich die Klinge durchs schneiden rausgezogen hat. Dieses hier ist Gut beim Kabel Abisolieren oder schweren Kartons zerschneiden. Hält die Klinge sicher. Hat auch einen vernünftigen Clip, um das Messer gut in der „Zollstocktasche“ der Arbeitshose zu tragen. Edelstahl Gehäuse. Stabil. Klinge sehr schön scharf. Ersatz wird mitgeliefert. Nachbauten (bspw Vigor) sehen ähnlich aus aber arretieren die Klinge nicht stabil
