The perfect "Art TV" without the premium price tag!
I've wanted one of those "frame" style TVs for the longest time to go above my fireplace when we moved to a new house but I just couldn't bring myself to pay the premium price for the name brand version. Since I run a small business from home and spend a lot of time in my living room, I really wanted something that looked like decor rather than just a big black rectangle on the wall. After a lot of research, I went with the 55 inch Hisense CanvasTV, and I am so happy I did! Installation & Look The installation was surprisingly straightforward. It comes with an ultra-slim wall mount that lets it sit flush against the wall, which is key for making it actually look like a piece of art. The teak bezel is a really nice feature too; it just snaps on magnetically and instantly elevates the whole look. The 55 inch size is absolutely perfect for the space above my mantle and it fits the proportions of the room without being overwhelming. The Art Mode & Display I love that there are so many different art pieces to choose from right out of the box. You can really match the mood of the room or the season. I will say, it does take some picture adjusting to get that perfect matte, "painting" look. The Hi-Matte display is great at cutting out glare from my windows, but you have to play with the brightness and color settings to make it look less like a screen and more like a canvas. A little online research goes a long way here, but once you find the right settings, it looks incredible! Motion Sensor & Performance The motion sensor, which controls the auto on and off, can be a bit of a hit or miss sometimes. However, it’s been much more reliable recently, even though I didn’t change any of my settings. I’m wondering if a new firmware update came out that smoothed things over. It’s been great lately at "sleeping" when no one is around and then turning right back on to the canvas mode the second we walk by. It’s so nice to walk into the room and see a beautiful landscape instead of a blank screen. Overall If you want that high-end designer look but don't want to break the bank, this is a fantastic option. The picture quality is sharp for movie nights, but the way it transforms into art during the day is what really makes it special. It has been a wonderful addition to my home, and I’ve already had a few guests ask if it was a real painting during visits.

Looks amazing
This is an amazing TV! Great picture and the art mode is so good I find myself watching the art mode instead of live tv shows. It mounts really close to the wall so I suggest putting in recessed connections so you can plug stuff in and it will be hidden. It took 2 strong people to put the tv on its mount due to its size (85”)!

Very cool TV that works well a monitor as well
Got this TV to make my desk look less like a computer desk and more like a built in area of my home. When not in use the TV is set to art mode and it shows beautiful artworks. You can also upload your own but there are tons of nice ones already on it. Love the magnetic frame, you can buy different ones if you don't like the one is comes with. Works well as a monitor too! 4k 120hz and nice color. Only thing that is annoying is sometimes the person detect doesn't work so well and it either stays on all night or doesn't come back on when someone walks in the room. But that issue is intermittent and I wouldn't really take any points off for it

Came for the flush mount, stayed for the artwork
This is a great TV. As a TV itself, the picture quality is good, not as good as a much more expensive OLED but no complaints if you’re not looking for that level of quality and at that kind of price point. The Matt finish is nice, especially if it’s in a more welded room. I mounted mine on the wall and it was relatively straightforward. If you know how to use a level and a yardstick and have some time to really do it right. It’s nearly flushed to the wall and really does look like a hanging art piece. The controls are very intuitive and relatively easy to navigate. Some of the advanced sound features you need to dig through the menus to find. However, the overall interface makes sense and is not laggy like a lot of smart TVs can be integration into Google home or Apple HomeKit is also very nice. It has all the features and a top smart TV has like Google cast, Apple AirPlay, PC streaming, etc. etc.,and they work just fine. The sound quality by itself is not bad, especially flat against the wall, but I highly recommend at least a sound bar to get a much better audio quality. But if you don’t have anything like that, it’s not too bad. However, what really makes this TV stand out, especially against the more expensive Samsung Frame, is the vast free library of art pieces available which look amazing on the matte screen. There’s no annoying subscription and it gets updated often with new pieces, literally hundreds. We have turned TV this into a conversation piece with our family where we are not just watching shows and movies together, but we are looking at art and talking about it and enjoying some of the well-known classics from Monet, etc., to many more obscure pieces that are also amazing and beautiful. For better or worse, our modern world tends to dominate our attention by endless screens perpetually seeking to overstimulate us. It’s nice to see a piece of technology that lets you intentionally choose to do the opposite, if you choose. It lets you slow down and be present and take something beautiful in and think about it. This allows you to change the whole feel of the room this TV is in. Rather than just a media box our dopamine addicted brains mindlessly gravitate towards, enslaved by the algorithms, it opens up the possibility of turning the room into a space ofsubtle and peaceful, quiet thoughtfulness. I think if this To only had art on it and wasn’t a real TV I still would enjoy having it in my house for this reason alone.
