ACDelco Gold 18J4625 (88877851) Front Passenger Side Hydraulic Brake Hose Assembly

The right front wheel on my 2011 GMC Yukon Denali was overheating to the point of smoking. I took the wheel off and the caliper piston rubber was burned badly. I thought it was a bad caliper but after replacing it and the pads the brakes wouldn't bleed... just a trickle came out. I use the Motive pressure bleeder (GREAT PRODUCT BTW), and increased the pressure.. still nothing. Went through some other troubleshooting and narrowed it down to the feed hose from the hard line to the brakes. (after removal, I couldn't get any air to come through it, it was definitely clogged). I ordered this replacement, it came quickly and fit perfectly. It did have the threads for the wheel speed cables (others have said it did not). The only trouble I had was getting the hose connected to the hard line. I mounted it first (the mistake) and wasn't able to get the threads lined up. I undid the mounts and was able to get the threads to line up first time with the hose dangling. It's not the hoses fault! The only other problem I had was the retainer clip at the top of the bracket holding the hard line up went flying in to the abyss of the frame. Couldn't find it, couldn't get it or anything close at the dealer or parts store. Solution? Zip Ties!!! The next best thing to duct tape and bailing twine!! My only "complaint" is that although it came with two pressure washers, it did not come with the bolt that attaches to the caliper. It would be a complete set with that. Oh, and the Box was ACDELCO, but the bag was a bit suspect in that it didn't have any ACDELCO part numbers. That being said, most of this stuff is made in China and distributed under different brands so no telling if it is true ACDELCO. But it was an EXACT match and worked well.

Strange directions though: Leave on flat surface for 1 hour before installing. Also problem with the shape of the fitting security, backwards, but using old parts on hand we made it work

Dislike. The fitting on the end is improperly clocked, not allowing it to line up in the tab off the frame of my 2007 Silverado. I had to modify the tab to allow hose to fit. Definitely NOT "professional" quality part.

No issues, exact fit on a 2010 GMC Sierra 1500.
