Comunque la protezione era adeguata e anzi, il venditore è stato molto preciso poiché nel foglio dell'ordine era ben specificato e cerchiato a penna che si trattasse del prodotto "glass sealant" anziché del polish ( https://www.amazon.it/Meguair-Polish-Composto-G8408EU-Meguiars-Clarity/dp/B07CSYZBNN/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1547838976&sr=8-1-fkmr0&keywords=Meguair+G8504EU+Meguiars+Clarity%2C+in+Vetro%2C+flacone+da+118+ml ). La confezione è piuttosto semplice, una bottiglia piccolina da 120ml circa con annessa spugnetta da usare come applicatore. Parlando del prodotto...non credo di aver mai comprato qualcosa di più utile per la mia auto. L'ho usato in combinazione con il polish sopracitato, poi vi parlerò della procedura di applicazione di entrambi i prodotti. In assenza di pioggia, pulire i vetri diventa una cosa di pochi secondi in quanto con qualsiasi spruzzino e un panno che non lascia peli si fa presto. Il bello, però, lo da in condizioni di pioggia. Oggi ho avuto modo di provarlo e ne sono rimasto impressionato. L'acqua non attacca il vetro e non rimanendone bagnato tramuta tutta l'acqua in piccole gocce che andando ad una moderata velocità si allontanano automaticamente dal vetro, senza l'utilizzo dei tergicristalli. Oggi c'è stata una pioggia moderata (avrei dovuto mettere i tergicristalli a velocità continua, diciamo nella loro seconda posizione) e praticamente avrò utilizzato 5 passate di numero dei tergicristalli per fare 50 chilometri. E' assurdo: specialmente durante la notte si ha una visione eccellente con tutta la pioggia facendo anche a meno dei tergicristalli. L'ho applicato solo sul parabrezza, appena potrò procederò a farlo su tutti i vetri. Sinceramente non so quanto duri l'effetto..l'ho applicato circa una settimana fa, per ora l'effetto è ancora eccellente. Neanche a dirlo, quando si passano i tergicristalli l'effetto è perfetto senza lasciare righe e quant'altro. L'applicazione è un po' tortuosa, almeno la prima volta. Io ho applicato prima il polish e poi questo "glass sealant". Vi sintetizzo i passaggi da me effettuati nonché descritti dal manuale dei due prodotti: - ho deterso prima il vetro e asciugato in modo meticoloso; - ho passato il polish su tutto il vetro con una spugnetta con movimenti dal basso verso l'alto e da destra verso sinistra (e viceversa) procedendo sezione per sezione in modo che non si secchi il prodotto sul vetro stesso, poi ho passato una microfibra per togliere l'eccesso, - ho ri-deterso il vetro e asciugato facendo attenzione che non rimanessero tracce del polish; - con la spugnetta in dotazione, ho passato il sealant su tutto il vetro sezione per sezione e con movimenti simili a quelli del polish; - ho atteso una mezz'oretta in modo che il prodotto si fissasse sul vetro; - ho preso una microfibra leggermente inumidita per togliere l'eccesso del prodotto; - ho ripassato il sealant per poi ripassare subito la microfibra senza attendere (nelle istruzioni specifica bene di fare così, due passate di prodotto); - ho lasciato un'ora a far riposare il tutto, senza toccare il vetro o metterci sopra i tergicristalli; - infine, ho dato un'ultima pulita al vetro e asciugata finale. Insomma, un sacco di roba, vi servirà un pomeriggio libero per fare tutti i vetri. Comunque, l'importante penso sia darlo sul parabrezza: a parte i tempi di attesa richiesti, la fatica non è poi molta.
