## Description

Cowgirl races on HORSE around a Barrel Figurine, No. 3355, from HAGEN RENAKER. All have a gloss glazed finish. In partnership with her husband John, Maxine Hagen Renaker co-founded the Hagen-Renaker Pottery in Monrovia, California in 1945. By 1948 they were producing miniature animal figurines. In 1965 the company moved to San Dimas, California where it now operates. Hagen is the only manufacturer of miniature ceramic animals left in the U.S. The company continues under the leadership of their daughter Susan Hagen. PLEASE NOTE: Images are larger than actual size to see the beauty & detail close up.

This tiny figurine catches the essence of the barrel racer from the expression on the cowgirl's face to the horse's stance to the position the rope. It's all action frozen just at the right time. It is beautifully done. The colors are just right, the craftsmanship is perfect. AND THE PRICE WAS RIGHT! It was $20.00 less than on other sites I searched. $20.00 is a HUGE difference!
