Grow lights at a great price
This was bought as a present for my father for a hydroponics project. Pros The brightness of the lights is very good. Easy to install with a self adhesive back. We installed on foam board and suspended over a water tray Cons I don't believe the user is able to select individual colours blue or red so it is both colours at all times. As I understand it, red and blue colours emitted produce different wavelengths promoting either leaf or root growth and so im just noting the fact that it doesnt appear to be possible to switch between the two

Misleading Listing and Insufficient Light Output for Plant Growth
The product listing states that you will receive three LED strips of five meters each. However, I only received one strip measuring four meters. In terms of performance, the LED strips fall short of expectations. Despite the claim of 12V and 60 watts (suggesting a 5-amp draw), they did not produce sufficient light even when connected to a 12V 20-amp power supply. Further testing revealed they only draw around 3 amps. Additionally, measurements with a light meter indicate that the effective maximum range of the light is only about two inches from the plant, which is far less than what is needed for proper growth. Overall, the product did not meet the specifications advertised and does not seem suitable for plant cultivation.

Für den Preis gut und günstig. Ich kann die Rezessionen über den nicht haftenden Kleber des Strips nicht nachvollziehen. Der Kleber ist für glatte Flächen wie Kunststoff oder Metall gedacht und klebt richtig gut. Gerade auf Metall ist die Wärmeabgabe der LED's am besten gegeben. Die Wärmeabfuhr wirkt sich sehr auf die Lebensleistung der LED's aus. Auch wenn es nicht viel Strom zieht. Ja, die Dinger werden warm und haben somit eine gewisse Verlustleistung. Den Sommer über kommt die Lampe zur nächtlichen Unterstützung ins Treibhaus im Winter über die Fensterbank ... Die Lampe ist eine Feuchtraumwanne 120cm aus der ich das Innenleben entfernt habe.
