The Giacomini family has been making cheese on their family farm since 2000, using the milk of their Holstein cows. Point Reyes Original Blue was thier first and signature recipe: a traditional, foil-wrapped blue cheese made from raw cow milk, with a moist, ultra-creamy texture and medium-strong blue flavor. Point Reyes Original Blue is extremely versatile: refined enough for a cheese plate but also an amazing base for blue cheese dressing, excellent atop a steak or burger, or fork crumbled over spinach salad.
