ACT LABS Speed by Surface - Silver

I can't add much to the other reviews here - it's large, it's smooth, and the price can't be beat. A mouse pad like this sold under a premium gaming brand name would probably cost upwards of $50 AND end up being lower quality.I gave it four stars, though, because mine came slightly warped. My desk surface is glass, so it is very flat and unforgiving of such things. The lower right and upper left corners are lifted off the desk, and it has a tendency to cause the whole thing to spin. As long as I keep my keyboard close to it, it seems to stay put. Who knows, this thing is so affordable I may just buy another one and try my luck again, and then try bending this one into shape.

This thing is ridiculous. It's a 14x11in mousepad made of aluminum, and it's freaking TEN DOLLARS. No, actually less than that-NINE DOLLARS. I bought it because while I had a good cloth pad, it had an inconsistent feel to it due to the fact that I live in a humid area and it would end up absorbing the moisture from the air a bit on more humid days and it would change the texture of the pad. This thing is nuts, though. It's a ridiculously smooth and fast pad that I actually had trouble getting used to at first, but once I did, the feeling of the pad never changed one bit. If anything, it got smoother over time.I think I might end up trying something else because the pad's honestly just too frictionless for my tastes, but if you want a really good, fast hard mouse pad that'll last you a long time, you really cannot possibly go wrong with this thing. It's like NINE DOLLARS. That's cheaper than a lot of good cloth pads.

Superb glide, and huge for the price!EDIT: Still great after months of use! The fastest pad I've ever used: only similarly textured plastic would be faster than this kind of aluminum. But where plastic wears down fairly quickly, this does not. Of the 7 pads that I own, I find myself going back to this one most often; but speed and a low static friction is just my preference. ^_^

Best hard pad I've had so far.

It's MUCH bigger than I expected. I don't know what I expected though when it clearly states the dimensions on the listing. It keeps my hand cool and isn't loud at all. I already bought another one for my house.
