Bonds of Hercules: 2 (Villains of Lore, 2) : Mas, Jasmine: desertcart.in: Books Review: One word: gorgeous ♡♡ - The quality is excellent, the cover is straight Outta fantasy realm. Review: Kept me hooked - Bond of Hercules takes us into chaos with Alexis, a female Hercules whose life has spiraled into something she never agreed to. Bound in an unwanted marriage to two of her enemies from the Underworld, she's pulled into the Assembly of Death, and surrounded by mentors whose behavior suddenly feels off. Alexis is trapped on all sides. Olympus is shaken, the Underworld is restless, and a dangerous prisoner has escaped, pushing everything toward collapse. First of all, the book looks beautiful. I didn't know this was a sequel to Blood of Hercules before picking it up, so it was bit tough to get into the story right away, but once I got in, there was no going back. The story leans into betrayal, power struggles, and the constant pressure of being claimed, watched, and tested. I was so invested in this book that I pulled two all-nighters this weekend just so I could finish it off. Jasmine Mas blends Greek mythology with danger, romance, defiance, and spice, crafting a heroine who refuses to stay bound. For readers who love morally gray heroes, enemies-to-lovers tension, gladiator trials, and mythological drama, this one delivers exactly that energy. I'm definitely going to read more from the author.

Hercules is back and how!
-Hercules is Back & How- Review of 'Bonds of Hercules Quote Alert "𝐖𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐝, 𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫, 𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐦, 𝐝𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐲 𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬. 𝐇𝐢𝐬 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐲 𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐤. "𝐈𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐫𝐮𝐢𝐧 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞-" Jasmine Mas created a sensation last year with her female version of Hercules in Villains of Lore series. And now she is back with a second part z stirring the pot further. Fantasy has always been my go-to genre. The infinite possibilities it provides of speculation make for an engrossing reading and there is nothing better than learning about a magical world full of interesting characters and abrupt twists. I have so many favorite genres but fantasy remains my first love. The author doesn't waste much time and establishes the story early on. The atmospherics of the story are akin to a thriller, and the mystery is added by the continuous twists and turns. So what is it about? Every hero has their monsters. And Alexis is bound to hers: tied eternally, irrevocably to the Underworld’s dark heirs in a marriage that has shaken the foundations of Olympus – and everything Alexis once believed. Reeling, she enlists in the Assembly of Death with her mentors, set on wrecking vengeance on her husbands and uncovering the truth behind her deadly powers. She will soon teach them all that a god can’t be manacled. And a monster can’t be caged…

Sequel to the “Trials of Hercules”. I was very excited to see what happened next in this thrilling story - This book did not disappoint! If you enjoyed the “trials”, then you will love the “bonds”!

This book is so well written! The Greek Mythology is easy to follow once you get into it, it keeps you on your toes and it is honestly hilarious. Alexis’ sarcasm and doom-n-gloom attitude were so fun to read highly recommend if you like your thrillers with a little comedy and some macabre romance.
