Driven is Amazing product that works with bit of hard work and patience and makde my shower glass like new again after 9 years.
I generally do not write reviews but I would like to do it on this one because it is going to help a lot of people. Here is my story. 1. I got this whole house water softner as soon as I bought my new house in 2005. 2. 5-6 years down the road I still ended up with hard water stains on my shower glass. At the beginning it felt like the build up was going away with CLR/Lime Away and other cleaners but used to show up right after cleaning. When it became too hard I even tried razor and I still feel bad about trying that it has few nasty scratches that I could not fix now. 3. I have tried everything. Literally everything including high intensity Vinegar and beach and everything I found in my web search. Above all lot of time working on it time to time. All I left with was bad painful hands and elbow. 4. Finally my wife gave me ultimatum to fix the shower door or put some window film to cover it. 5. Replacement was very expensive and finally ended up ordering window film that itself was around $120 because it was decorating. 6. After I push order button on Amazon, it got this Driven ad at the bottom which was only $20+. As I was not interested in window film anyway I have purchased this to give it a try and see if it would work. Worst case I would loose $20. 7. That was the best decision and even today I feel so good about buying this product. Film came out to be very thick and it was still showing bad hard water stains from inside. So we ruled out using the film and waited for this Driven Glass Cleaner. 8. First thing I loved about this was it is not itense like other cleaners. Almost everybody in my house have nasal allergies. Second thing is amazed about the way it works. Catch is it is not like your other cleaner where you spray and wipe. Not at all. You need to work in small areas like 4 inch x 4 inch and it is not going to be done in couple of hours. 9. Once I saw the best results with Driven, I have returned window film for full refund. 10. As I have been fed up with lot of work with other cleaners for last 10 years I loved DRIBEN because it works after all the hard work. My gestimate is it took around hour to clean in square foot area. You got to be patient. I have purchased black & decker power scrubber but that did not help. What really helped me is cheap rags that I bought at dollar store. Those are very rough but not harsh so there are not scratches on the glass surgace. 10. I would like to insist that you should work small area at a time and apply lot of pressure while cleaning for best results. On and off I must have spend 4 weeks to get everything back to normal but I don't care. Because I might have spent 10 times more with other cleaner for last 10 years. I still have some spotty stains at the edges and planning to go another round soon. I have taken pictures before and after and I will attach if I can.

I'm stunned
I can't believe I'm saying this, but this product is like a miracle cleaner. In fact it took me a whole lot more effort to research it than it actually took to restore my shower doors with it. Over the years, I've tried just about every glass cleaner (and many other products) known to man, because I bought a house with some shower doors badly etched from mineral deposits. Nothing ever really worked to my satisfaction in restoring the glass to its original condition. Flash forward to my current house, which also came with a very ugly looking glass shower enclosure. Nothing has really worked there either, and like I said I've tried some hard core stuff. So when this Driven stuff arrived I decided, based on past experience and the fact that I didn't have a lot of time, that I'd do a little test spot to see if it offered even a glimmer of hope. I started right out with the 0000 steel wool, wasn't going to mess around with anything less. But I wasn't going to exert myself either, I just wanted to know how it worked on its own power with a normal application, no hard core elbow grease involved. So I put some on as directed, then wiped it off with a wet sponge and dried it with a cloth. WHAT? Is this a trick? Could those spots really be gone, or were they going to come back later (as often happens)? But no, the difference between my test patch and the surrounding glass was stunning! I got so excited I dropped everything and did the entire door with the same level of pressure. Nothing very hard, just applied with the steel wool and cleaned off as described above. And it's like I got a new shower door from that minimal effort. I'm so happy I can't even tell you. Daughter came home and actually commented on how clean the bathroom looked (!?!) even though the only thing different was the shower door. So based on this result, I'm going to do one more application, a bit more meticulously, to catch anything I might have missed, pick up any smears I left behind and then apply a glass sealer I just ordered (CRL Transparent Polymer Coating Surface Protector) and see how that goes in preventing future hard water deposits. I'll report back on that product later. But just knowing I've found something that actually removes this stuff easily, when everything else failed, is mind blowing. Oh, and yeah, I wore gloves because they recommend it, but there were no nasty fumes (believe me, I've tolerated my share of fumes for the cause). It was in fact quite pleasant smelling. And I'm talking about using it in a very small bathroom without any real ventilation. In fact, it didn't even occur to me to turn on the fan. So bottom line, I really can't recommend this stuff highly enough. Funny how something like this can bring such happiness, but I'm a person who actually worked with a chemist for a while in trying to devise a formula just to clean my shower doors. (Yeah, I was just slightly obsessed.) I came close but still never accomplished what this stuff has. I'm ecstatic. UPDATE: I mentioned above that I was going to try CRL Transparent Polymer Coating to seal the doors once I got them clean. Well, I did, and I'm super impressed. When they start to look spotty or streaked, I just spritz them with a mild cleaner and wipe them with a cloth and they sparkle just like before. It's been about 6 months and I haven't had to reapply yet, and this shower gets daily use, anywhere from two to three times a day. I'm so happy I've finally found the combination that I can count on to work.

Realistic review - how it actually works
This is one of those products that deserves an honest and detailed review. First off, as far as the 1 star rating people go, it looks like they are either haters or unskilled people who should not be using this to begin with. So what is it?? It’s a rubbing compound. That means light hand pressure for light stains and actual higher RPM drill/buffer for nasty stuff. Does it work? Yes, 100%! So what did I do with it? 1 large master bathroom with lots of glass and 2 guests bathrooms with standard sliding doors and also large patio door. All of them had nasty and deep water stains from nasty renters who let it get that way. Bastards!!! This will get out light stains easily. Use a sponge or a microfiber cloth and you’re done. Deep, ugly, impossible to get out type deep water stains is the real thing to write about. To go on, let me say that this bottle goes a long way! For hard stains I worked 2’x2’ area at a time. Very little moisture on the buffing pad. 4”-5” pad works great. Attach to a drill (at least 700rpm) or use a high speed buffer (ideal). Start low ROM and build up as you go. I say little moisture because you want to work it with good pressure upfront and then let the pad slowly work it i to a haze so you can gradually see it dry as you go, which lets you see whether the spots are gone or not. If not gone, just go back to it and apply more pressure and keep watching the stains go away. Max efficiency and speed is gained by applying a bit more product and then spreading it around the 2x2 area and then coming back to detailed and slow buffing across the 2x2 footprint. DO not use abrasive pads of any type. Soft, dense and spongy type pad is ideal. It absorbs moisture and does not suck up too much product. Abrasive pads will also dumpt the product all over the place at higher. RPM. Some product in the pad is great if you want to continue working longer and apply more pressure and still get a material removal action hence the sponge note. 1 star raters should get a life and a new hobby that does not involve hands on work. This product is excellent. Now, in terms of competitiveness, it’s a rubbing compound. You can probably use automotive ones, 3M stuff and others that will do the same thing but perhaps with a bit less efficiency as this looks like it has a bit of calcium remover type agent in it. Overall, excellent product worth every penny. If you cannot remove the spots with it, you’re not doing something right most likely, or the damage is beyond repair, which is also unlikely knowing what I had to deal with. Enjoy!

Really works but it’s not effortless
This stuff actually works. My mother in laws glass shower stall was coated with water spots, I used ooo steel wool with the cleaner and it made the class appear spot free. It took about 21/2 hours to complete but it looks great. We are selling the house so it needed to look new.

Real results with some elbow grease
Picked up where everything else failed. Excellent results with a little elbow grease and patience. This product removed hard water stains on my boat’s glass almost immediately. I had very bad old stains that were stubborn. Was recommended this driven stuff and it worked. Highly recommend.

Expensive for what it does
This product works well but seems to be very expensive as compared to an item I have used in the past. Before moving into my current residence, I used Soft Scrub with bleach on a glass/shower door in my old residence. I lost sight of that fact when I moved. In hindsight I recalled that it worked well, as well as with this product. The cost is significantly more for this product, and for that reason I give it a 3 rating.

Best Hard Water Mineral Stain Remover
Best Hard Water Stain Remover, especially for shower doors. We purchased a 3/8" a clear glass shower door around 2011. Never new how to take care of it and instructions to do so never came with door purchased from HD. If your shower door is frosted or has decorative etchings, I would research this product thoroughly for your intended use by starting at the manufacturer's website before trying it. Hopefully, you can find some reviews here on Amazon as well. After about 2 yrs of use with unfiltered county water, the glass became noticeably stained by the hard water. My search for cleaner went on for about 2 yrs without any luck. I tried more than a dozen different purchased products from big box stores with big claims of being able to remove mineral deposits on glass. Nope, a lot of labor and no change. Then I thought there must be an expert on the web about how to remove the problem. Nope, nada, nothing worked. From lemon oil to vinegar to auto detailing websites. I even purchased crystal grains or something that was recommended for severe hard water deposits. I thought I could use my random orbital sander on. At that point I was getting desperate for a solution. Nope. Didn't work. My product search included Amazon, as all my product searches go. Again, none of the big claims products worked. I was about ready to give up, but then I happened to somehow type the right search words and found this Driven product. I think because i was ready to sacrifice some scratched to the glass if I could just get rid of the stains. I mean, you couldn't see through the glass at this point. That was 2015. The product recommended using the finest steel wool to help the product work. (more on this later) I was hesitant but desperate enough to try it. They have it on Amazon--0000 was the super finest I could find. So with applying the pasty product generously with with a paper towel and letting it sit for a few short minutes, I started working it in with the steel wool. It took about 3-4 applications, but eventually the stains began to disappear. I felt so relieved. I could actually see through the glass again and clearly without any evidence of scratching! Finally! I was so impressed with product and the recommended instructions and tips that I thought I would try it on my vehicle's front window that had the corners with stains from dirt and hard water. Stains came off! HOWEVER, when driving at night, now you can see where abrasive cleaners fail. Spider web highlights from headlights of approaching vehicles. Luckily, in my earlier search I still had a bottle of scratch remover that was recommended by an auto-detailing shop. The shop didn’t help with removing hard water stains but the scratch remover was pretty good. That helped to almost remove all the scratches. The vehicle is safe to drive at night again. But don't do this, even if the name has the word "driven" catching vehicle owner's attention and product labeling includes that it can be used as a vehicle glass stain remover, I would at least go to their website and research their guidance thoroughly for your intended use before you try it. So after it worked for the shower door, I started wondering maybe it was actually the steel wool that removed the hard water stains. NOPE! It's the combination of the two. The heavier your stain, the more applications of the steps you will need. It takes a lot of elbow grease to remove all of it. One large door took me about 6-8 applications over about 6 weeks! Yes, a lot of labor involved. After the first two or three applications, I could see improvement so it motivated me to keep it up. Bottom line is don't give up too quickly. You really have to keep at it. Start in a small area to see how many times you have to apply the procedure before you get what you want, then apply that to the whole door. Yes, it's very time consuming but it works. Now, we use a simple squeegee also purchased on Amazon, to remove water from the door and glass block tiles after each shower. That tip should have come with the door, because it's the thing that keeps the glass mostly free from hard water deposits. The door is flat and easy to squeegee but the glass tiles are not flat, so we're not able to get into some spots. Those areas require 1-2 applications after about 2-3 yrs. In 6 years, I have not needed to reapply Driven to the shower door, so removal of water is key. I thought of installing a whole house reverse osmosis filter system to get rid of the hard water problem, but the shower door and washing our vehicles would be the only real benefit at this point, so I passed. We already have a good Ecco Water system for the kitchen. And I didn't like it when as a kid and my parents installed a whole house RO. I never felt like all the soap was rinsed off your body. I hope that helps anyone who is going through this.

If you have an ounce of respect for your vehicle, stay away!
I order from Amazon all the time. Hundred and hundreds of products. I've never been compelled to write a review for any product but this one. Amazon highlights the positive reviews, and I am fine with this, but as a very scrutinizing consumer I rely heavily on unbiased true information. This glass cleaner/polish scraped and scratches glass like to other. The reason is simple, the abrasive components inside are very course and there are too few of them. What this results in is a lot of not so fine scratches in glass that are easily visible to the naked eye. I had to go over the same area for over an hour trying to get rid of them with various amounts of pressure and different pad combinations, no luck. The windshield (one quarter of it) is completely ruined. Also, when looking out from an angle through that side of the windshield, I can tell there is some warping of the image coming in. Meaning the glass is no longer smooth but has parts which are deeper than others. So what I am saying is that this product is like using a chainsaw to perform heart surgery. If you increase the quantity of abrasives in this polish, decrease their size and allow them to self diminish, then this would be a great product that I'm sure would work. As of now, I either have to go to a pro shop to get this fixed, or I must replace my entire windshield. This is an absolute disaster, PLEASE read the negative reviews and make up your own mind. I am a very hardcore strutinizer, and I am telling you to NOT buy this product. It does not work and makes things worse. DO NOT TRUST other positive reviews, they must be written by paid people or friends of the company. Speaking of which, I was worried when I researched this company and found their pathetic website. I was hoping I found a `diamond in the rough' product in the auto detailing world. Turns out I was mistaken. Buyer Beware. Okay, I've done my part as a consumer trying to protect others, you've been warned.

Works great on water stains. But beware.. fine scratches will appear if too aggressive.
Cleans water stains effectively and quite effortlessly on my glass shower doors where normal household cleaners just couldn’t do it.
