Lifefactory 22-Ounce BPA-Free Glass Water Bottle with Classic Cap and Protective Silicone Sleeve, Onyx

I just got this today and I love it. The bottle is designed ergonomically not only in shape but to give you a good natural grip with a cool decorative silicone wrap on the bottle too. Easy to hand wash with a little soapy water and a bottle brush that's it. The glass bottle is nice and thick so it's not going to break easily. It's not tempered glass so you don't want to put it in the freezer, microwave or boil it and go right from cold to hot liquids or it will crack/break, but I don't think it was intended for hot liquids anyway. I wanted something glass so my water isn't contaminated with plastics where more and more are being identified as leaching chemicals into the liquids it contains. Now it's not just BPA, it's BPS and others too so plastic in general in contact with food and liquids are not a healthy combination to include plastic wrap, plastic storage, including frozen food and styrofoam, etc. I have even discovered after buying milk in glass bottles, it tastes much better and I'm sure it's because the plastic milk bottles are adding a taste from chemicals leaching into it from sitting in contact with plastic. Now on this bottle is Plastic #5 Skew top (Polypropylene (PP) is a thermoplastic polymer. It is strong, tough, has a high resistance to heat and acts as a barrier to moisture). Although I wish it wasn't, it also doesn't actually sit in contact with the liquid; it is just a cap cover and to pour with, which only has a brief contact with the liquid as you drink. A metal cap would be ideal to be totally plastic free but I haven't seen one that is a sip style yet. This glass bottle is the best one I found in all my research.

I love these water bottles! They last a long time, but on the occasion that I make a mistake and it breaks, I always replace it with the same brand - without even shopping for other options. I love the size, shape and drinking out of glass is ideal. I've been buying this brand of water bottle for nearly 15 years - worth every penny! I use a Guyot brand splash guard (from REI) that allows me to drink water while driving. A must-have for this bottle! It's flexible, food-grade silicone so it fits beautifully in the mouth of the 16oz and the 22 oz bottle as well.

Simple, perfect water bottle that is easy to clean with a bottle brush. Never had issues with leaking. Nice handle for carrying. I like that it lets me know how many ounces is in the bottle. I am currently pregnant and wanting to be extra vigilant about my water intake and keeping track. Size is perfect for my needs. I like that it is glass instead of plastic considering all we are learning about microplastics. I've bought one for my husband and my dad because the price point is right. I'll prob gift them to other family members in the future as well.

Love love love this bottle. I finally replaced an old Life Factory that I had broken like 4 years ago. This is the size I love. Easy to hold, enough water that i remember to drink but not so much that it's splashing in my face or overwhelming me. It's easy to clean (with a bottle brush - highly recommend, otherwise you can't get in there) and I love the color. I don't use the black top that came with it, I think they looked so much better when they matched the tops to the color of the sleeve. I use an old flip top from my old bottle. But both lids I've tried and they are leak proof! I use it mostly for water but have used hot tea in here before, as well. I don't do crazy things with it but it's durable as far as I'm concerned and I wouldn't hesitate to strap this to the back of my bike, just sitting on the rack with a bungee cord and nothing else.

Great quality. All these years later it’s still good. I don’t use it as much b/c it’s a bit heavy. I think I would prefer one that incorporated a draw or a spout. Easy to clean. You can put fruit etc in it. Silicone sleeve still looks good and no stains. Water tastes great. No metallic tastes. But since it doesn’t have insulation it’s best for drinks that are good at room temp.

I love this water bottle because it’s glass. It also has a silicone over it to protect it. I’ve been using this brand for 10 years. When i bought my Kangen water filter I stopped buying water bottles. I wanted to drink great water and also minimize my exposure to plastic. Best decision I’ve made.

I have been looking for a wide mouth glass bottle, dishwasher safe and easy to clean. This has it ALL! I like the idea of having a different caps for the bottle. The only one thing can recommend is to provide an option of a steel cap, incase for someone who does not like plastic.

I'm a 79 year old and wanted to get rid of the plastic and metal water bottles I was using. Glass is heavier than the plastic and metal water bottles I had, but now I can actually taste the filtered water we use. Makes you wonder about contaminants from the plastic and metal, doesn't it. The perforated cover actually helps me hold onto the bottle so it doesn't slip. I purchased 2 to keep around the house with filtered water in both - helps with dehydration which apparent us old folks tend to do.

Bellissima e durevole, leggermente pesante ma aiuta a trattarla con attenzione. Peccato per il tappo che si è rigato con i denti dopo poco tempo di utilizzo. Si può sostituire ma non è proprio a buon mercato. Buon prodotto ma il prezzo è un po' alto.

Da ich im Sportbereich ausgebildet und tätig bin, habe ich schon immer Getränkeflaschen viel genutzt. Ich war sehr froh, als ich die Lifefactory Flaschen gefunden hatte, denn diese Flasche hat alle Vorteile, die ich immer gesucht aber bis dahin nie bei einer einzigen Flasche gleichzeitig gefunden habe: sie ist aus Glas trotzdem durch die Silikon-Hülle relativ sicher geschützt die Öffnung ist groß genug, dass man sie wirklich gut sauber machen kann !!! Es gibt einen praktischen Verschluss aus dem man gut trinken kann es gibt einen Verschluss, der wirklich auslaufsicher ist Und dazu auch noch schön, in verschiedenen Farben und Größen erhältlich Alles top! :-)
