Have only riden it a few times but love it! Ordered a basket and a light and I’m ready for all our summer camping trips. It needs to be assembled when it arrives but instructions are easy and clear. Shipping took longer then expect and kept getting delayed.

The Around the Block Women's 26" 21-speed in Mint Green looks wonderful when set up! (basket and child-seat do not come with the bike ) The box arrived 2 days before it was estimated and was transported upright by Purolator, thank you. I assembled it for my wife. The bike was carefully padded in the box. The coloured assembly booklet had very specific instructions and about things that were already assembled. The bike was advertised as 'comes 85% assembled' and it was. After assembling the front tire, remove and adjust the front brakes pad assembly; the handlebars (which have the gear changer/front and back brake levers placed on the inside for transport); seat and rear rack. The handlebar gear/brake lever placement was odd, I asked sixthreezero about this and they said they turn them inside the handlebars to protect them during transport. I wish there was something in the booklet about this so it wouldn't have wasted the time. Also the front brake/tire assembly cable needed to be released to get the front tire on. Two slight mechanical concerns; first the handlebars still can move even when the Allen bolt to secure them from moving side to side is VERY tight; second, the Shimano gear shifter viewer to see what gear you are in, is at an angle where you can't see the number unless you bend far forward. A black washer was missing to put the rear rack on and when tightening the nut on the bolt for the seat adjuster assembly, part of the bolt broke which was very unexpected. I contacted sixthreezero support through email about both of these items and they replied quickly with 'what they needed from me to put it into claims and get me a replacement part sent so I could get riding the bike.' Overall an eye-catching cruiser that my wife enjoys riding as is! I predict many enjoyable rides in the future!

If you don't mind perhaps getting some replacement parts, particularly the brakes, this bike will probably be a great fit for you. But you'll also need some patience and maybe some of your own solutions for things. For starters, the instruction manual does technically tell you how to assemble your bike, but they're like, generic instructions for a totally separate bike, which isn't ideal. The bike includes useful tools for assembling everything on your own. However, my bike's handlebars came tightened insanely hard, and it was impossible to get enough leverage to loosen them without something extending the provided hex wrench or by using a power tool. The color of the bike is great. Not quite as striking a seafoam green as in the product listing, but still quite attractive looking, as well as the design. The gear shifters are grippy and nice, and the handlebar grips are comfortable, though the gear shifters are a little stocky, and the cables jut out really far and are easy to snag on things. But in particular, the brakes are horrible. I don't know why they think this is okay, but the brakes sound like a horn when you're holding them, and they're not even good. Oftentimes I'll have to white knuckle both of them to stop anywhere near quickly, and I did in fact adjust the brake tension. I've just been stopping with my shoes instead. I haven't tried replacing them yet, but I would imagine it's because the brakes are made of some... cheap polymer or something. The bike seat also seems to wiggle forwards and backwards no matter how tightly I adjust it, so I may replace that too. All in all, a little expensive for what I feel like I got out of it, but it is a nice-looking bike. That's probably what you're here for anyway.

I bought this for my wife as a birthday present, because she has always been asking for one so she could Go for rides with me and the kids around the neighborhood. She wanted something that would allow her to sit upright and something that was going to be a comfortable, smooth ride and this bike has met those requirements. She didn’t want to let on how excited she was when she was riding it but I could tell in her smile that she was reliving her kid years all over again. One thing I have noticed is that the front brakes squeal a lot each time she stops. The rear brakes are fine but the front ones are very distracting each time she stops.
