Cuisinart Salad Spinner- Wash, Spin & Dry Salad Greens, Fruits & Vegetables, 3qt, CTG-00-SSAS

Since my 1st Salad Spinner in the 70's I've used all types. Now as the wife and I are Seniors - we don't need a big Salad Spinner. This Cuisinart Salad Spinner is exactly the right size for a couple, or small family or student away from home. It is simple to use, works very excellently, and is easy to clean. I highly recommend it.

This one is a replacement as the first one was cracked in shipping, which is odd because it was shipped inside an Amazon box. The replacement was shipped in a padded mailer and it arrived in fine condition. Good little spinner, simple to use. I like that the lid locks down while using it. I just picked from my garden a few salads worth of lettuce. Took me 5 minutes to wash and spin dry. Highly recommend if you don't need to dry a large amount of lettuce at one time, like for a family of 5 or more. Just get one that's a little bigger if you do.

I probably should have read the reviews more carefully before ordering this Cuisinart Salad Spinner. It’s quite a bit smaller than I expected. My old salad spinner lasted for years before finally needing to be replaced, and I guess I just assumed this one would be similar in size. That said, Cuisinart is usually a brand you can trust, which is why I went with this one. The spinner itself seems well made, but because of the smaller 3 quart size, it really only holds enough greens for about two people maybe three at most. I took some photos with my hands to give a better reference of size. My hands are size small in gloves. I’m still deciding how I feel about it overall. It does the basic job, but I’m a little concerned about whether it will be durable enough to last as long as my previous one. For now, I’m keeping my fingers crossed that it holds up over time. 🤞🥗 I’ll update if I end up having similar issues I now see in other reviews.

I love everything about this salad spinner! This replaces one that was about twice the size because the big one was so cheaply-made and cumbersome. This is one is sturdy and smaller - it’s great for 1 or 2 people. It has rubber feet so it doesn't slide in use, it’s easy to turn & the lid has a latch to keep it closed. It has more wonderful features & I highly recommend this for your kitchen.

Got this size thats not so bulky and easy to use for just me and my husband its perfect. It really works well and cleans and drys perfectly. I love it

This is a great salad spinner! I like the size of it, even though I have to spin more than once when I’m making salad for a larger group. It spins well; my larger one would get off center and would be difficult to get back on a good spin. It does a nice job of getting the water off the leaves of greens. I’ve used it for fruit as well; it’s good for cherries, grapes. I’ve even used it once for strawberries when I was pinched for time. A slow, gentle spin gets the water off without bruising the fruit. Its size makes it easier to find a place to store it.

Works great and easy to use Very handy salad spinner. It’s a good size, easy to use, and does a great job removing water from lettuce and other greens. The spinning mechanism works smoothly, and it’s easy to clean afterward. Good quality for the price. Very happy with this purchase!

It's not super strong but still works well. The handle piece broke off, I still use it but keep in mind it's plastic... I like my lettuce to be very dry.
