A perfect duo for softer and more defined curls This Skala Mais Cachos shampoo and conditioner kit has surprised me a lot. The shampoo cleans very well without drying out, something I always look for for my curls. The conditioner is light but really moisturizes, leaving the hair soft, manageable and with less frizz from the first use. I loved that both products have a pleasant aroma and that the result is a more defined hair with a natural shine. I feel my curls more alive and moving. In addition, for the price, it is an excellent option for daily use. I totally recommend it if you have type 2 or 3 curls and are looking for something cheap but of good quality. I will definitely buy it again.

Left my hair soft. If you like soap sudds this is not for you. Doesn’t have a smell. I like my hair to smell pretty. A neutral scent.

Excellent product

I wanted to give this a good review. I wanted to like this product. I have Brazilian friends that swear by Skala. BUT I have to be honest and say it was terrible for my hair. Maybe because my curls are aging? Not sure if that made a difference? But when I first put this shampoo in I felt it strip away the moisture. I thought, ok it’s clarifying. Let’s see what the conditioner does. Um, no. I could feel the layer of oil it tried to add on my hair but putting oil on a bristle brush does not make a soft brush. I added the rest of my curl routine to see if it helped but I still wasn’t happy. Two days later when it was time to shampoo again, just absolutely not. I put it in and I could feel it knot into thick clumps. It was like putting super glue in my hair. I could barely get it through my hair, not to mention scrub it at all. I’ve heard of no-lather shampoos but this was way past that. So here I am two days later, ready to buy another shampoo and conditioner. What a waste of money. I’m so sad.
