says for machinery Lubricants( OIL) on pump says water transfer. very slow and does not produce volume of oil as states.

Used as a primer pump on a yacht,, working as designed

I’m sure it’s a good pump but the instructions clearly state not for fuel use.

Please see my disclaimer for Vine provided items at the end of this review. This Seaflo gear pump is well built. The pump head is a solid chunk of brass, with brass internal gears. And the provided brass barb fittings are good as well. Pump performance is strong and reliable. The rubber anti-vibration feet do a pretty good job reducing the amount of noise generated by the running pump. This pump should last a long time if used and treated properly. And the 4 year warranty from Seaflo is reassuring if something were to break unexpectedly. Pump comes with two threaded to barb fittings. The nomenclature says 3/8" FNPT, but it's not. Also, the barb fitting is not 3/8". My local hydraulic fitting store says they can't get the parts because they don't carry British Pipe Standard items.
