Review: I got the RoyalBaby Freestyle Kids Bike (20 inch, pink) for my daughter, and she’s over the moon with it! It’s been such a hit, and I’m super impressed with how well-made and easy to set up this bike is—definitely a great pick for kids ages 6-10. Right out of the box, this bike was a breeze to put together. It came about 95% pre-assembled, so I just had to attach the handlebars, seat, pedals, and fenders. The instructions were clear, and it took maybe 15 minutes. The pink color is vibrant and exactly what my daughter wanted—she loves showing it off! The BMX-inspired design looks sporty and cool, and it comes with a water bottle and holder, which she thinks is the best part. The bike feels sturdy with its steel frame and 2.4-inch wide tires, which give her great stability on pavement and even some light gravel in our neighborhood. The dual hand brakes are a big plus—no coaster brake here, which I love because it’s easier for her to get the hang of stopping smoothly. Other parents on desertcart mentioned the brakes are well-adjusted from the factory, and I found that to be true; they worked perfectly right away. The adjustable seat and handlebars are awesome since she’s still growing, so this bike should last her a few years. My daughter says it’s comfy to ride, though some reviews noted the seat can be a bit hard, so we might add a gel cover later. It’s a little heavy compared to pricier bikes, but she’s 8 and handles it just fine. The kickstand is handy for parking, and the bell adds a fun touch she loves ringing. We had a small issue with one tire arriving slightly underinflated, but a quick pump fixed it—no big deal. For the price, this bike is a steal, especially with all the features and solid build. It’s perfect for getting her out and active, and she’s already zipping around like a pro. If you’re looking for a reliable, stylish bike for your kid, this one’s a winner. We’re thrilled with it and would totally buy another RoyalBaby in the future! ## Features - 1. Easy to put together. 95% of the bike is assembled. But I am not sure which size. My son is 42 inches. Should I go with the 14 or the 16 inch?** A: Measuring your child’s inseam is the best way to find the right bike size. The correct frame size is the only way to ensure that your child reaches the floor safely and easily with both feet at the lowest saddle height. Inseam length (Inch) Inseam length (cm) Wheel size 12”-14″ 85-90 cm 10 inches 14”-17″ 35-42 cm 12 inches 16″-20″ 40-50 cm 14 inches 18″-22″ 45-55 cm 16 inches 20″-24″ 50-60 cm 18 inches 22″-25″ 55-63 cm 20 inches 24″-28″ 60-72 cm 24 inches 28 inches and longer 72 cm and longer 26 inches Read more https://www.blitzresults.com/en/bike-size-child/ **Q: Is this bike pretty light ? I have bought a bmx type bike for another son and it is so heavy makes it harder to pedal** A: In my opinion this is not a light bike, however this is what makes it sturdy. My 3.5 years old did not find it dificult to pedal. This opinion is subjective - check the specifications of the bike to get exact weight. **Q: can i get this bike wiyth a kick stand ?** A: Dear customer,We provide extra kickstands for all our 16" and 18" bikes. And our bikes can be equipped with standard kickstand, too. If you're not sure what kickstand is suitable for your RoyalBaby bikes, pls fee free to contact us for advice. And we also have the spare parts for sales.TOLL FREE: 1-877-BIKE AID (245-3243)E-mail: info@cyclefg.com //vicky@royal-bike.comBest regards!Royalbaby Cycle Co., Ltd. **Q: Does this bike have coaster brakes?** A: YES, they do! At least the two I bought do, I bought two bikes at different times and they both have coaster brakes as well as a handbrake for the front wheel. Both bikes are the smallest size, I think 12", so maybe the larger versions don't. Both of the twins love them and use only the coaster brakes so far. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review *by S***T on 9 February 2026* Tis is an awesome product! my grandaughter loves it and it is a quality bike! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review *by C***S on 3 June 2025* I got the RoyalBaby Freestyle Kids Bike (20 inch, pink) for my daughter, and she’s over the moon with it! I spent a lot of time assembling and repairing them. Lots of times, lower-end bikes had lots of issues: bent parts, untrue wheels, misaligned brakes, etc. I had never heard of the Royal Baby brand before, but after reading other reviews, I decided to get one for my eight year old son. Of course, when it arrived, I gave it my usual thorough walkthrough. Initially, I noticed that the parts seemed to be good quality. Welds were solid and the finish was perfect. Assembly was just like any other bicycle: pedals, handlebars, seat, accessories. All parts lined up perfectly on the first try. No fighting, no twisting and pulling, none of that. It also comes with some cheap tools to help with assembly, so you don't have to worry about finding a pedal wrench, or the right size metric allen. Once together, I started to look at the mechanics. Tires were very true. There was no noticeable wobble to them, which was abnormal for bikes in the $100-150 range. The brakes were adjusted perfectly. They were centered on the rim and had the perfect amount of pull. Overall, it seems like a quality bike for the price and I am pleased with the purchase. ## Frequently Bought Together - RoyalBaby Kids Bike EZ Balance to Pedal Dual Handbrake Toddlers Boys Girls Bicycle 12-20 Inch for Age 3-10 Years - RoyalBaby Kids Bike EZ Freestyle Training Free Balance to Pedal Easy Learning Bicycle, 12-18 Inch for Toddlers to Big Kids - Kids Bike Helmet, Adjustable and Multi-Sport, from Toddler to Youth, 3 Sizes --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sn/products/735807815-royalbaby-freestyle-kids-bike-20-inch-wheel-bicycle-teens-bmx](https://www.desertcart.sn/products/735807815-royalbaby-freestyle-kids-bike-20-inch-wheel-bicycle-teens-bmx) --- *Product available on Desertcart Senegal* *Store origin: SN* *Last updated: 2026-10-11*
