## Description

Penguin Pottery Glazes offer a wide range of effects including vibrant, bright, smooth, glossy, textured, satin, matte, opaque, semi-translucent, fluid, non-fluid. Our low flame glazes are perfect for school projects, classrooms, studios, and pottery builders that won't light up at high temperatures. These low-fire glazes offer potterists the choice when looking for a wide palette of colors, including Celadon, Vibrant Red, Dark Green, and Bright Blue. Our Midfire Glaze offers the same range but provides interesting effects and conditioning that are not available with low-fire glazes. Our glazes are lead free, non-toxic and food safe (when baked and tested properly). Be sure to shake the jar well before use. Do not freeze. Try it and tell us your thought!

Review: Ugly--Doesn't liquefy at cone 5 or 6 - I've used this glaze on several clay bodies and every time, regardless of thickness of application (1, 2, 3 coats) the glaze simply doesn't liquefy at cone 6, so I'm left with ugly green/brown/black. Yes, I've tested the kiln heat, yes, they reached cone 6 temperatures. (It's a workshop membership, so I've varied the kilns too). I'm tired of wasting my time and effort with this garbage glaze. Will be using Maaco only from now on.

Definitely have to fire at cone 6 to get the beautiful blue color! It turned out so pretty on the buff and black clay! Really new to the pottery world and these are the first things I’ve made that I’m super excited about!
