DOACE Voltage Converter US to Europe for Hair Straightener Curler CPAP

Worked beautifully on our recent European trip. Visited 5 countries and was able to use my c-pap machine with no issues. Also love that it has both the usb-a and usb-c plugs to charge devices without having to carry additional adapters. This plug is quiet. My older plugs have a hum to them when they are plugged in. Great buy and worth the money.

WOW this thing really handles my travel needs! Went to Japan for a week and they run on 50 hertz. I was skeptical, so I brought my alarm clock. I am hearing impaired and use a clock which vibrates the bed, otherwise I would sleep through the alarm. Even with my US clock (60 hertz), the clock kept perfect time. This thing is so much better than having to have a voltage converter. It also worked flawlessly in the Philippines where outlet power is 200v.

Worked fine in both England and France, but the cooling fan came on with 2 cellphones and 2 smartwatches connected, so a high amp device may have been a challenge?

Definitely one of the best things I purchased for my trip throughout Europe. The plugs are perfect, and the ability to plug in different items was great. You cannot use this to plug in a hair dryer or curling iron though. I don't think it can handle the load. But, the different European plugs that it comes with allow you to plug into the wall and then plug in your hair dryer or curling iron. Quite versatile when you get creative. Great purchase!!

I bought this for mine and my Fiancé’s trip to Italy. Either we received a defective item or it just didn’t work. It was advertised to work with hair dryers, curling irons, etc. But when we actually tried using those items with the converter, the hair dryer and curling iron wouldn’t even turn on. It was a huge waste of money and I can’t even return it because we got home from our trip after the return window had already passed. So, take my recommendation and do NOT buy this product, unless you’re buying it strictly for lower wattage electronics and utilities.

So if you plan to use styling tools, it might be worth double-checking the wattage limits or bringing a dual-voltage version instead. Overall, a reliable converter for everyday travel use, just be mindful of what devices you’re plugging in.
