I had to ship some cheese to my daughter. I used insulated packing box and these to keep the cheese cold. I did ship in the winter from Delaware to Florida and overnight shipping. When my daughter received the package the cheese was still cold. When they came they were very small and had some kind of powder in them. I was disappointed and gave a bad review. After looking further into the product instructions, I found out I made a mistake. After you soak these in water l, they expand and freeze well. I left them in my lunch bag I take to work over the weekend in my car. They thawed, but did not leak. They're actually pretty cool.
