my leg measures 16 inches which size should i order so reviews say order a size smaller and some say order a size bigger?

I don't know exact measurements. I would suggest one size smaller Thant pant size (S M or L)the below knee is tapered & a little larger above knee. Wonderful product. I wish I hadn't battled with pillows for as long as I did
