Will a ruck plate fit securely in my GORUCK?

Yes. Ruck Plates are purpose-built for GORUCK training setups and designed to stay stable with minimal shifting. Standard plates fit the Rucker and Ruck Plate Carrier; check the size guide for your specific ruck.

Why buy a GORUCK Ruck Plate instead of using another weight?

Fit, convenience, and lasting performance. Ruck Plates are built for GORUCK gear with a compact profile, rounded edges, and wide handles. Plus, they’re backed by GORUCK’s SCARS Lifetime Promise.

Can I use a Ruck Plate without a ruck?

Yes. Wide grab handles let you use the plate on its own for carries, squats, presses and other strength or conditioning work.

Are Ruck Plates durable and rust resistant?

Yes. They’re made from powder-coated ductile iron with an approximate 90,000 LB break strength. The matte black coating is rust resistant and built for hard use.

Is it easy to move a Ruck Plate between GORUCK setups?

Yes. The purpose-built shape and wide handles make Ruck Plates easy to grab, load and transfer between compatible GORUCK training setups.
