I bought the BRITULIF Adjustable Shower Chair with Arms & Back for my mom to use in the shower, and it’s been excellent. It feels very sturdy and stable, even on wet surfaces, which gives me peace of mind. The arms and backrest make it much easier and safer for her to sit down and stand up. Verdict: My wife is currently five months pregnant and spends her entire workday on her feet. This chair has been an absolute game-changer for her evening routine. It is incredibly sturdy, handles hard water without corroding, and makes showering relaxing rather than a chore. We honestly wish we had bought this months ago. Stability & "Plop" Protection: The most important factor for us was safety. - Solid Build: This chair is rated for 550 lbs weight capacity, and you can feel that quality immediately. It feels sturdy enough to stand on (though we use it for sitting). It is a decently wide size allowing for plenty of space. - The "Plop" Test: When you're exhausted, you tend to just let gravity take over and "plop" into a chair. This chair doesn't wobble, creak, or shift (thanks to the suction cups on the feet) when you sit down heavily. It feels completely planted to the floor. Ergonomics (The Height Advantage): - Easy Stand-Up: The height adjustability is fantastic. We set it high so my wife doesn't have to squat low to sit down, which is crucial as her pregnancy progresses. - Handles: The side handles provide excellent leverage. Being able to push off the armrests makes standing up effortless and safe. I think for the price this is a fantastic chair. It was easy to assemble and took less than 10 minutes. It's a nice wide chair so it should fit just about anybody. Obviously there would be exceptions to that, but I don't know anyone that would not be able to sit in this chair. The handles are nice and sturdy. They work well to lift yourself up if you need assistance. I have had no issues whatsoever with the chair slipping in the shower. It stays nice and stable. It's also pretty easily maneuverable in the shower if you need to slide it forward or backwards. It would be a little bit big in my particular shower to try to turn it around. You can lean back fairly comfortably. The only thing I did not like on this chair is the feature where you can clip your removable showerhead onto the side. I did not have a good experience with that actually working very well. My showerhead still flops around when I tried to attach it in that manner. Instead, I would just drape it over the bar on the inside edge and press my leg against it to hold it in place. The holes in the chair are a good feature so that the water can run off you and right through the chair. You can clean just about everything except your backside. Obviously you have to be able to stand up in order to use this chair if you need to clean your backside. I did see some chairs that had a hole in the middle for that purpose, but as long as you're able to stand, it shouldn't be a problem. I read quite a few reviews before I ordered my chair. I actually really like this one and think it was a good choice. I think that just about no matter the reason that you are in need of a shower chair, this would be a good choice. If you have a tiny or narrow shower, this might be a difficult chair to use. I have a walk-in shower that's a pretty small size. It is usable in that, but if you have a bathtub, make sure you measure the width if it seems narrow. This chair is a little bit wide, but I would still assume it would fit into a standard tub.

Got this for my mom after she broke her hip and it has been a lifesaver. She has been using it for a few months now and says she finally feels safe and steady in the shower again. The chair is very sturdy, doesn’t wobble, and the wide seat is comfortable for longer showers. The legs adjust easily so we could get the height just right, and the rubber feet grip the tub so it doesn’t slide around. The armrests and back give her extra support when she’s sitting down and getting up. If you are caring for an elderly parent or anyone recovering from surgery, this chair gives a lot of peace of mind. Very functional. Weight capacity is great. Although she’s a smaller woman.

I had the bathtub removed a shower put in but nothing to grab so I ordered this chair. It arrived today I put it together and tried it. I like it. The chair is well made, and strong didn’t wobble. The arms are the right height. I need to hang onto them when I stand up and sat down and I felt secure. That was one of the main reasons I bought the chair for the arms. The back is a nice. I did not put the padding on, sure it would be fine if you wanted to I just didn’t want to and at 85 do what I want. Thank you!

Easy to assemble, extra sturdy. Works well. My stepson is in a wheelchair and transfers into since he doesn’t like his shower chair. The last one was rated for 300lbs but he bent a leg putting all his 6’2” 270bidy into it. This one is rated for 550 lbs if I remember correctly so it should work.
