The spec is 3 meters but 2.98 is pretty close. Yes this is length

How many tubes come with it?

It is one long 3 meter tube you have to cut it.

Is this availabel in transparent and 100 foot rolls for resale?

Company sells a transparent tube but I consider the black one an upgrade since the clear one gets stained with time.

Recommendations for keeping fittings easy to separate from tube? Impossible to loosen compression fitting without two vice grips and fitting damage.

You need to coat the hose where it touches metal with something to keep the hose from sticking to the metal, I think silicone based lubricant would work. You can coat the hose just before you slide the ring over the house and tighten it down. You may have to cut the hose to get it off the barb after you unscrew the nut but at least you shouldn't damage the fittings. Small strap wrenches would also be a possibility.
