Cons - Exterior gets warm: Not dangerously hot, but noticeable. - I hand wash the removable interior, but I read in some reviews and in the manual that if you put it in the dishwasher, there may be a slight discoloration of the inner pot. So read before you throw it in the dishwasher, and use silicone or wood utensils to keep the ceramic nonstick liner fresh and scratch free - Lid fit is snug but not airtight: Works fine, but expect a little steam escape. I replaced my old slow cooker with Greenlife and am extremely satisfied. Cooks as indicated on instructions and is easy to clean and very lightweight.
