My beloved dog has really bad allergies, and she loves to run in the woods, tall grass, and loves to lay down in all of that to cool off.Unfortunately, when she does, she pays the price the next day as she develops hot spots - and the noise level from her licking incessantly all night is disturbing to say the least.I don't have a problem bathing her, applying the multiple layers of tick preventative, heart worm medicine, and giving medications to prevent her from developing allergies; but what's really nice about this product is the ease of use - I literally just rub it on to her skin/hair and it works really well. It doesn't bother her, and she apparently thinks I am just petting or brushing her.The durability of applying it prior to allows me and her to relax and not have to suffer the consequences of her actions. She seems unphased by it, as it apparently has no taste to it, or if it does it doesn't bother her to the point she feels she has to constantly lick it off (a problem I have had with other treatments).I now keep three of these with me; one in my truck in case she comes with me, and I forget the other two, one that is in my travel trailer, and the other at home if she starts up.The dispenser is of good quality - it doesn't feel like it's going to fall apart, nor do I worry that the whole tube of balm is going to crack off when applying like a cheap deodorant roller for humans.

The tin is very small as others have stated in the reviews however you only need a small thin coating to help get rid of the rash and this product works wonders, wish I took before and after pictures our female German Shepherd had a rash on her stomach in three different spots and within 3 to 4 days the rash was almost completely healed. Product smells fine,our dog didn’t even bother with it and seemed to have almost instant relief. Rash began to clear up within 2 days and as I stated prior was almost completely gone after 4 would definitely recommend this product.

The scent is lovely, and not too strong. My 3 dogs didn't back away from it, and I applied some on one's elbow callus, and some on another's lick granuloma from grass allergy. Neither dog licked it off. However, the 3rd boy decided to slurp the tin before I got the lid on, so it can't smell that strong to them. Hoping for a softer elbow and a reduction/correction of the lick granuloma. Giving 4 stars as I like the texture, how it goes on, and the scent did not bother my boys. Can't give 5 as I haven't seen how it works for the boys yet.

I’ve been using this natural balm for a few weeks now, and I’m seriously impressed. My pup tends to get little scrapes and dry, cracked paw pads from all our outdoor adventures, and this balm has been a total game-changer. My dog does not like this. When ever I use it she runs around like its burning her.Didnt think there was anything in the product that would cause this reaction.

My dog loves it. She has some skin issue that started a couple weeks ago. The vet said its allergies. We did a cytopoint shot which is like a miracle. But she still had all the old dried out scabs from itching herself. The vet shampoo dried her skin and fur out even more. I gave her a bath with Zymox shampoo and while she was wet and during her blow dry I applied this to her boo-boos and she didn't mind it at all. I even put some right on her fur and the blow dryer helped it soak in to her skin. Later that night, petting her ear, I felt a little rough spot and reached for this. I always show my dogs what I am using so they dont feel like I sprang something on them. Prior to finding this product, I had tried several hydrocortisone creams. But she would cower and squirm away when I showed those to her. With this one, she took a sniff and laid her head back down on my lap and had no problem with me putting it on her. And it softens everything up so while she is healing, she won't be an itchy mess. I bought the option that had both products in it. And the same is true for both of them.

This stuff is amazing!!! My dog had a rash on what I would call his armpit and he would make it worse by scratching it more. It got to the point where he had a big scab in the center and all around was red. I started putting this ointment everyday twice a day and it’s been a week now and it’s completely gone and healed. It helped the scab fall off and leaving the area like new. Def recommend.

My poor mastiff, Brute, had a hot spot for weeks that we couldn't get rid of. This ointment was soothing, had a great texture and smell, and helped him so much! I suggest this product to anyone who's animal needs some skin soothing help. Definitely my go to for any pet skin issue.
