Adquirí esta guarda para ver si me ayudaba a disminuir los ronquidos, y en mi caso si los disminuyo considerablemente. Utilizo la app de SnoreLab para ver resultados. No es la primera guarda que utilizo que empuja la mandíbula hacia enfrente, pero si la más cómoda ya que trae varios niveles de ajuste mediante unas correas de plástico intercambiables. Les recomiendo ver el video de como moldearla utilizando agua caliente, ya que, si tiene su proceso, pero se puede moldear hasta 3 veces. El precio es elevado, pero me ayuda a dormir mejor…vivo solo y mis ronquidos no molestan a nadie, pero esto hace que no me levante con dolor de garganta en la mañana y tengo menos cansancio durante el día. Les recomiendo tambien utilizar una almohada que eleve bien su cabeza, ya que esto ayuda aun mas a que la lengua no se vaya para atras de la garganta... con almohada delgada me ayudo yo creo en un 50%, con almohada gruesa yo creo un 95%

UPDATE: I am updating to share my thoughts 2 weeks in. My original review after a couple days is below. The TLTR version... this thing 100% has worked for me!!! Night one with the level 2 strap helped but not all that much. Night 2 was a bit better. Night 3 with the level 3 strap was miraculous... down to 13 snore score but then it kept creeping back up eventually to 68 and I was getting discouraged. I recalled some review I read saying they had to keep going with stronger straps and so I tried the level 4. To be honest, and I think this would be true of any device like this, it's not comfortable and takes some getting used to, especially as you use shorter straps. Level 4 was a huge adjustment but it immediately took me from 68 to 18. My next several snore scores were 22, 36, 34, 32, 29, 8, 17, and 11 the night before I'm writing this update. Coming from being a person who shook the room with their snoring to these results is incredible. Yes, I had to spend WAY more than I wanted to but these results are well worth it to me. I still have level 5 to go to if the level 4 strap gets worn out (I hear that's a thing) or I might just buy replacement straps (wish they sold only the level I need). I highly recommend this if you have tried all else and nothing worked. Just keep in mind that you DO trade some comfort for a reduction in snoring but I'm getting used to it now. My teeth being sore for a few hours does kinda suck but again, worth it. ---------- Original review: Like many of you, I tried everything else; nasal strips, nasal dilators, chin strap, sleep position, pillows, etc. Nothing worked. At this point it was maybe time to go the CPAP route? I decided to see if there was something else to try but the problem with all these remedies is they ALL have people who say they work great and people who say they are an outright scam. This product is no different really. Since I had not tried a mouth guard before, I read up on them and decided that even though this one was very expensive, it seemed to be the most promising so I took the plunge. Setup: This was relatively easy though I did go find the video on Youtube that was more helpful than the printed instructions. Took about 10 min total to get fitted and put together. Baseline: Using SnoreLab my Snore Score hovered around 80-90 (yeah, I know) and the night before I tried the Somnofit it hit 92. Night 1: Since I have an overbite, I used the recommended starting strap of "1". I won't lie, wearing this thing wasn't the most pleasant thing in the world but it wasn't the worst thing either. If it could help with my snoring, giving my wife and me a more peaceful night of sleep, I was willing to suffer a little. I did manage to make it through the night with it in. Snore Score: 51. This was progress! The result was promising but since this is an adjustable mouth guard (most of the reason why I got this one in particular) I hoped I could adjust it for a better result. Night 2: I fitted it with the "2" strap that pulls the lower jaw further forward and settled in. This time I felt like I was a little used to it and wasn't as bothered by the device itself. In the morning I was floored that my Snore Score was 31!!! That is the lowest I have ever had using Snore Lab. It's too early to tell if this is "the" solution but it certainly has done more than anything I have tried before. I will certainly be continuing to use this and will update my review if needed.
