Quality from Alpaka
I think this is a superb card holder from Alpaka which I've been using for my work ID and a few other cards. It feels very well made and the card holder is durable with a water repellant finish. The stand out feature for me is the magnetic attachment which works perfectly and is really clever - you can pull on the card holder as much as you want and it won't detach from the clasp but as soon as you grab the pull tab it detaches quickly and easily for rapid access. The clip it attaches to is sturdy and it fits through a molle loop which is how I've mounted it. The only thing I'm keeping an eye on is how the D-ring attaches to the card holder - if you pulled it hard enough I think the card holder would rip/tear. At the moment it's fine but could be a weak point going forward looking at other reviews. I'll update the review if this becomes an issue.

The ALPAKA Card Holder with HUB Clip is a handy accessory for keeping frequently used cards within quick reach. The quick-release magnetic system works well, with a simple pull on the tab detaching the holder smoothly. The magnets are strong enough to hold it securely in place for day-to-day activities like commuting or travelling. The construction quality is solid, with the Hypalon material giving it a durable, water-resistant feel that should handle light rain without issue. However, I wouldn’t keep my most valuable cards stored in it all the time, just in case. The connection between the metal ring and the card holder could be improved with a stronger looping system, and attaching the D-ring for the first time can be a little fiddly. Despite these minor flaws, it pairs really well with my Alpaka backpack, both in function and style, making grabbing travel cards or IDs much more convenient. Overall, it’s a well-made, stylish, and functional quick-access card holder that’s especially useful when paired with other Alpaka gear. I hope this review is helpful. Thank you.
