I needed something that can massage my neck and back without having to hold it. During this time of working from home, I'm mostly on a computer chair for hours at a time and I just simply place this on the chair and let it massage my back while I do my work. This keeps my back from getting stiff and feels great. I also use it for my thighs, calves and neck. It rotates in 2 directions, has a heating mode, and speed adjustment. When using this for the calves, thighs, neck, knee, or other odd positions, it has straps on each side that you can put your arms through to help you hold it in place.
