The sequins are securely sewed on and so therapeutic to comb to one side (multicolor, default) and then silver. It arrived quickly as promised. My only complaints are:--The base of the bag is paper-thin ?vinyl...A heavy folder or sharp pencil or ruler would poke right through. I will have to sew some padding into the bottom interior to lend support. Bummer.--The other thing is the smell...a yucky nauseating commercial plastic storage smell. I'll air it out and stuff in a few dryer sheets or sneaker deodorizer balls or something.For the above 2 reasons I am giving this cutie 4-stars instead of the 5 it could otherwise have earned. Still lovely though. Fingers crossed we can successfully troubleshoot the above two issues. ### ⭐⭐ Had to sew it up myself *by C***Y on Reviewed in the United States on February 15, 2019* I am only giving this two stars due to the fact that there were giant holes in both ears and they were practically falling off. I had to sew both ears back on and sew them up closed. I found no issues with the zippers and my niece really loved it. It was a new backpack for her because her old one ripped... I FINALLY came across this one & it looks just like the one she had from the beginning of the school year but WAY better quality & the price was definitely reasonable as well.
