King Oscar Mackerel in Olive Oil, 4.05 Ounce Can (Pack of 12, Packaging May Vary), Skinless & Boneless, Wild Caught Canned Mackerel

As far as taste and quality you cannot do better than King Oscar brand in my opinion. Many other brands of canned fish have cans that can contain toxins, like Polar's sardines I believe. As far as flavors in this box I like all of them. The lemon is subtle and fresh not fake, the Jalapeño is zippy and perfect for dips and salads, the Mediterranean is my favorite and I put it on/in everything. The plain flavor is usually eaten first right out of the can with some crackers, use the oil in these cans! Its flavorful and perfect for recipes. Sadly mackrel is kind of expensive otherwise I would live off it.

This brand doesn't not disappoint with mackarel---firm fish filets that taste freshly cooked, good-quality oil, and well-balanced seasonings. The sauce is so good they should sell it in bottles---the heat is nicely mild-medium (I'm not a fan of spicy; your mileage may vary) and it has a sweetness that doesn't overwhelm. NOTE: If you don't use all or any of the sauce when you serve the mackarel, do yourself a favor and mop it up with bread or some crackers. You'll thank me.

This is my new favorite tinned fish, delicious. The olive oil and lemon is the perfect mix, really complements the mackerel fillets. There is a good amount of fish in the tin, good value, and just fish meat no bones or scales.

I love mackerel and have been getting more into tinned fish. Mackerel can be difficult to find, but this is a great tasting and cheap way to satisfy any cravings. King Oscar makes a great product for an affordable price. They have wonderful curated flavors too. I love the accessibility to the product in stores and online for easy restocking. Will definitely try more of their products in the future.

Coming from a food snob... this is the ultimate canned fish out there! The quality and taste is second to none. If the world ended... this is what i want in my pantries!
