I have this scarf/shawl in 4 colors. Yes, you can wear these to semi-formal events where you might get a cold shoulder. The length is perfect to wear multiple ways if you are one of those people who have a panache with scarves. I'm not one of them. The material is light enough to just wear around your neck & (this is important) it can be thrown on when you have company at home & don't want to put on a bra. Think of the way Brooke Shield's hair covered her chest in "The Blue Lagoon" & it's like that. Beautiful range of colors. Mine are white, beige, blue & - I forget the other color I bought.

This shawl is a wonderful complement to black, purple, and many bold prints. During the warmth of the afternoon I give it a gentle scarf toss around the neck hanging down front and back keeping my back and shoulders open to fresh air. As the cool of evening arrived I open it up to cover my shoulders, arms, and back. Even such a light wisp provides more warmth than I expected.

This is a pretty basic shawl. It’s a soft material, the color grey and will accent most colors (black, blue, silver). It’s long and will drape nicely across the shoulders or you can tie it loosely in the front.

I am so happy I found this scarf!! It matched perfectly with my “white” Birdy Grey dress. I ended up sewing the corners on both ends together to keep it in scarf form so it was perfect for my engagement photos. The material was great and surprisingly soft too! Quality was good. Can be warn in different ways but I chose it as a scarf.

My wife loves this; it is a great accessory for travel to upgrade an outfit or to provide a little extra warmth on top. It drapes nicely around the body. It is big enough to use as a sarong cover up.
