My melasma has faded

Since there’s a lot of good reviews with this I purchased it and took me weeks till I received.When I received it, I immediately incorporated it to my morning routine but slowly, like 2-3 times a week then after 3 weeks I started to notice a pimple that is showing and I don’t understand coz I’m only using hydrating products no any other actives..Then only on 3 week I realized to do the patch test and it’s my mistake that I didn’t do the patch this first yea. Big mistake :(So I did the patch test on the left arm it turned red immediatelyI did it on right arm and it sameI was like, its so pricey you have to work but then I’m so sad that I have to stop using this

I have papulopustular rosacea and I’ve actually seen a big difference in my skin since using this. My cheeks used to be covered in little pus-filled bumps and a lot of texture, and after about 2 weeks I started noticing that they were going away. It honestly helped my skin a lot.I do want to say though, follow the instructions! It says to use it “every other day,” but I started using it every day right away. At first everything was fine, but after a while I started getting the bumps again and my skin became more irritated. I was using it every morning and night, so I definitely think I was overdoing it.I ended up taking a break and focusing on repairing my skin barrier. I used Avène Cicalfate, which helped my skin calm down, and once my skin was feeling normal again, I started using the azelaic acid again. This time I’m only using it about 3 times a week and it has been working really well for me.Also, if you’ve tried a pure azelaic acid before and couldn’t tolerate it, I think this is worth trying. I previously used Isispharma Metroruboril with 15% azelaic acid, and my skin absolutely did not like it. My face would get really red and tight, and I would get a lot of little bumps. I don’t have that same problem with this one.Another reason I bought this product in the first place is because it’s fungal-acne safe, which was really important to me when choosing an azelaic acid product.Just keep in mind that even though this is a derivative, it can still be irritating if your skin is sensitive. If my skin feels really reactive or extra red, I skip it and focus on my barrier instead. I have very sensitive skin, and using it 3 times a week has been the sweet spot for me.

I have been using this product from past 1 month. Nothing noticeable yet.The hyperpigmentation is still there,no glow or anything great to make me fall in love with this product.It didn't break me out,so I m still using it.

I also love that it includes niacinamide and vitamin C, so my skin looks brighter and more even overall. Unlike some other azelaic acid products I’ve tried, this one doesn’t pill or leave my face feeling tight and dry.I noticed my skin looking calmer within the first week, and after continued use my pores and hormonal breakouts around my nose and upper lip have improved a lot. A little goes a long way, so the jumbo size is worth it.Definitely a staple in my routine now!
