Broken glass shards when opening bottle
I have purchased this liqueur previously (not from Amazon) and it is a delicious staple in my drinks cabinet. Over ice its amazing. Purchased in the summer and when opening it recently there was grinding whilst removing the top and when looking closely I could see lots and lots of little shards of glass around the neck of the bottle and that would have fallen into the liquid. Obviously this makes it undrinkable as even a tiny piece of glass can rupture something internally, Do not purchase from Amazon who I assume have bashed the bottles around - unfortunately the return period has gone over now for me.

Cant rate it as darent open it with the bits floating about in it
I bought this last november as read a review about it. I thought it would be nice in the summer in prosecco......ive just got it from the cupboard and its got bits in it. Has it gone off? As you can see its not been opened and ive kept it in a cool dark cupboard all winter. Advice please

Not sealed?
I love this liquor but it’s arrived with no seal at all so I’m unsure of it’s safety. The top is one that just pulls out so I’ve sent it back and will purchase elsewhere with a seal for safety.

Never judge a liqueur by its bottle - this is not slick but sickly sweet
ohhh, I was the idiot who read the happy 5 stars reviews late one night and got suckered in. I found this randomly on a cold night, and fell in love with the idea of a gorgeously fragrant Bergamot cocktail that is as elegant as its fantastic looking bottle! I waited for it, thrilled it arrived. Damn I was SO wrong. Hence the title of this tragic review. It was yet another lonely I don’t know what day it is day as I haven’t gone for my usual cocktails with friends another year or two. Thought I’d experiment in the best Covid bar in the world of my own domain, boy… very much regret this purchase. This is essentially syrup in a GORGEOUS aqua color bottle. Sure, it can be a £23 vase, but then I don’t know how on earth to get through it… Its not been touched for a year since its initial try, never came out of the back of my drinks cupboard. Worese, my faiith in cocktail experimentation has been gravely shaken … no, I refuse dealing with the surrender of sticky sweet candy cocktail. I promise I’ll look for a recipe, maybe better on pancakes?! ALCOHOLIC PANCAKES w Bergamot anyone?!!

Nice, but it's not grappa.
I ordered some grappa in a hurry and this came up straight away in the Amazon search. My fault (probably) for not checking more thoroughly but, pleasant though this liquor/vermouth is, it certainly isn't grappa. So be warned. I find, increasingly, with Amazon that one searches for a specific product and it brings up something vaguely related, but very different. And if it's a product with branding other than English, it's easy to make a mistake. Particularly if one is in a hurry. So, this is a perfectly pleasant 20% abv drink, but it's not grappa or anything like it.

Beautiful bottle, poor drink
Bought as a birthday present: the beautiful bottle impressed a lot, the drink did not. Too sweet for an after-meal liqueur, awful a prosecco spritz, we still dont know how and when to drink it. The whole debate about it always finished with: "but it a beautiful bottle though...". Not worth the price nor the effort.

Lovely drink for the summer😀
Love this. I add to prosseco. Add a sweetness to it. Does up the alcohol level though. Just a splash needed. Bought a bottle for a friend. She loves it too.

Goodbye St. Germain
Simplemente delicioso.
