This works as described. You put in the clothes and soap, close it up, squeeze and stir the clothes, and then rinse several times using the same process (but with no soap obviously). After the first rinse I gave up and just stuck my hand in the bag and finished that way. The annoyance of sealing the bag every time wasn't worth it. If I was washing barf or poop out of clothes I would probably use as designed, but otherwise I'll save time and effort and just get my hand wet. Having said that, this still beats a bucket because it can wash more things at a time, and packs smaller. So I guess it's worth it for that reason, plus there's the option to keep your hand out of the water. Either way, you will want to do this in a tub or shower because of splashing when you pour out the water. Or a utility sink works. I don't think a bathroom sink would be big enough.

We used this washer on our recent 2 week cruise and it worked beautifully. No leakage and it did exactly what it said it would do. We bought some laundry detergent sheets and cut them in half and washed our small clothes when we needed to instead of spending an arm and a leg for laundry services on the ship. Highly recommend for frequent cruisers!

Have taken it on all trips for those clothing mishaps that need cleaning asap. Definitely better than using the hotel sink.

I somehow thought that this bag had the scrubbing nubs in it and it doesn't. It's basically a dry bag with a sleeve and a port to let air out. I just tested it yesterday by washing some of my merino undies and it seems to work alright. It's got a good-sized capacity, but that also makes it somewhat clunky to work with. Use of the sleeve was also just so-so. Like someone else in the comments said, it probably would work better if you just wore kitchen gloves and put your hands inside it. Bottom line is, I wouldn't get this one again, I'd try one of the bags with nubs.

Feels funny, but works like a champ. Make sure you keep it in the shower when using it in case you spill anything.

This product is very well made and has a great design. It is my go to for my bras and underwear. Only downside is having to wait for the towel to dry so I can wring out second batch

Ingenious design and the quality seem to be very good. To be honest, I haven’t used it yet because I purchased it for a long vacation where I won’t have easy access to laundry facilities. The vinyl is heavy duty and everything seems to be of very good quality.
