Oodles of Noodles Jumbo XL Pool Swim Noodles - 55" x 3.5" Hollow Core

Good quality, long a bit spendy, good for pool aqua activities, and exercise

I needed this to fill the gap between panes on a window. I have an portable A/C and when I connect the hose to the window adapter it leaves a gap up top allowing the hot exhaust air back into the room. The gap is about 48" wide and this worked perfectly for blocking. I originally intended to split it and cap the window pane with it, but instead I was able to just cut a long wedge. No crumbling or falling apart. It was a bargain and still leaves a clean look from outside.

After experiencing the positive results of using this at the y, I bought one for home use. I spent several hours cutting down dead, mature ash trees one day and really threw my back out. I could barely bend or stand and knew it would likely get worse before it got better. Before I went for a hot shower, I rolled out the muscles in the area of the pain. By the time I finished my shower, the pain was completely gone. No doubt the muscles were severely cramped and the roller squeezed them out and got the blood flowing where it was needed most. This is a great roller and I’m a believer in what it can do.

I got this to convert into a 'cone of shame' for my dog. I hate the ones from the vet, and didn't want to go broke on one of those fancy one and this is a dyi project that is slowly becoming popular within the dog community and I thought I would give it a try. I was a little unsure this would be the right noodle, as the word 'jumbo' made me a little nervous, but I was put at ease by the other reviews showing it's more the length, than width that's big in size. It worked out well for me, easy to cut and size to my dogs collar and so far, working as I needed [keeping him from chewing]. The best part is, it's much more comfortable than vet cones and he is able to eat, drink, move and walk around in much more comfort than if he had to wear one of those. Still some areas not so comfortable, but can't win them all. Probably my only con towards the product itself is I ordered red, and it looks more pink. I wish I got blue instead now...not end of world, but man, I really I hate pink. lol

One of these is the best thing ever to use for a million crazy ideas when you are looking for something to complete an idea you have and can't find anything manufactured to purchase. For example: I removed my bedskirt and put black long underbed storage boxes under the bed but I hated the ugly looking legs from the metal bed frame. I wanted legs that looked like furniture. I bought just one of these beauties and cut it to the height of the bed frame legs, sliced each one like a hot dog bun and set them around the legs. Walla !!! Perfect and now the bed looks like it is standing on a platform with black storage boxes and black pool noodle pieces wrapped very nicely around the legs. I have a good size piece unused and I can think of a ton of things to create with it. Pool noodles are a gift to use for so many reasons. These are sturdy, strong and big. I have no doubt I will be inventing all sorts of handy things for myself using these.

I'm using it for my quilting to roll up my pinned quilt top ready for quilting.

Very firm, thick, nice and long, and looks like it will last a long time. BUT it is very stiff, and somewhat hard, even after flexing it and leaving it in the sun.

I had been looking for a solution to block off a crawl space from my cat. I live in an older building and my unit has a built in trundle bed that I don’t use to sleep in. She didn’t notice it at first, but within a year she started crawling under it. It’s incredibly dangerous, because I do use the trundle bed for storage and I could crush her pulling it out, also it’s not a space I’d be able to get her out of in the event of a fire. I had been brain storming solutions, other than towels and blankets, and pool noodles came to mind. This one was long enough and allowed me to choose the color. I couldn’t believe it came in brown, a pretty ugly color for a pool toy, but the brown blends in with my carpet, so that it doesn’t stand out. This product completely blocks the space from cat, but is removable so I can access the storage space. The seller was also really responsive when I inquired about the tracking. The noodle ships in a long clear bag.
