Half way through my contemporary class, the tips of my big toes hurt from the pressure of the canvas. I think the shoes may break in over time. Overall, these shoes are great. I’m not a ballerina. I got these to keep my toes warm at night but not my feet. They worked great for me!! I move around so much during my sleep that I can’t keep low cut socks on my feet. My feet end up getting too hot anyway. I need just my toes to stay warm. The straps worked great at keeping them on my feet. The straps did not bother me either. The toe box area was wide enough for my wide feet. But I pulled them down so they weren’t right on the tip of my toes. I even wore another thin pair of socks under them one night. That was too warm lol I’d say the quality is great because they are thick. They will last me a long time I’ve been told my idea to use these to keep my toes warm is pretty ingenious lol I don’t have a circulation problem. I have Raynaud’s.
