Have used a furminator for years with much success with many dogs, but our mini-Bernese has longer fur and I worried teeth weren’t reaching deep enough. Decided to try this after seeing a review comparing the two models, while searching for a different model furminator. The reviewer said this was way better… fur was flying everywhere… But was it? It was true - with the different shape, the fur was flying everywhere! With the furminator it holds the fur, so you can use it inside if you aren’t feeling well, it’s winter/ pollen season/ rainy etc - or you want to brush while watching tv! Definitely not with this one!! That made it hard to compare how much fur was coming off, but I think it was more than with the furminator — the furminator seemed to get more per stroke but quickly wasn’t getting much more, while this got a little less but I was still getting more fur after having brushed 2-3x as long. His hair also looked more groomed than with the furminator. Hair blows off it with ease - no need to clean. My plan is to alternate going forward, but I suspect this will get heavier use when deep brushing is needed while the furminator is the go-to in inclement weather seasons. I bought the version with a 3-sided tool. It has been amazing for our fluffy pillows and couches - the upholstered “fur” was clumped and flattened from dogs, but back to as fluffy and soft as the day we bought them! What a bonus!

What is this amazing brush!?! Why is it not being recommended by EVERY groomer?! I have a husky-malamute/aussie/border collie mix. The hair is unreal. I spent over $100 on brushes for my huskies in the past but needed a better undercoat brush. I was willing to try the set with the rake brush and triangle furniture/upholstery brush. I did one sweep through my dog and his winter coat and WOW I was so impressed! I cannot believe how much fur I got out with this rake. It looks like he went to the groomer and got a blowout. So happy! Also love that the bristles on the upholstery brush are rubber and not metal like a lot on the market. Pictured my pup so you can see the type of coat I’m working with.

I have a long haired cat with 2 under coats so he gets matted easily if left ungroomed. First year so learning process. This comb works great on small to medium mattes and for keeping up with grooming to prevent future mattes. It grabs a lot of hair. I like the triangle for my stairs and other hard to clean places where his hair collects.

Worked amazing on my GSD and lab, this is less than 5 minutes of brushing

This is the best thing I’ve ever used on my German Shepherd. It does I great job!

The brush is a must for my border collie. But the nubs on the triangle hair scraper wear down really fast.

This pet grooming rake has done wonders on our German Sheppard long haired dbl coated, I finally able to comb out his matted fur although had to cut off some. This rake was able to get rid of dead fur. I'm very happy to have purchased this, money well spent!

The amount of undercoat fuzzy hair this brush brings out of my golden retriever is crazy. Works well and seems to be more gentle than some other styles of brush. The upholstery hair remover works well too but does require some persistence to remove deeply embedded hair.

Works really great! Doesn’t bother the skin either compared to other combs, my dog (king German shepherd) was actually enjoying the brushing! And the tool for the couch works amazingly!! Highly recommend!
