what about the Hood I have a lot of hair because some hoods are way to small will this hood cover all of my hair with ease?

I washed it warm and it worked just fine...I usually wash everything at least warm because of hygienic reasons and never had a problem so far :)

How well do you think this jacket will do on a ski mountain in New Hampshire for a 13 yr old?

I purchased this as a gift for someone else but I think it would do well as a waterproof outer shell for skiing if they wear several layers underneath. It has a thin, soft, inner lining that didn't seem like that alone would keep you warm enough for skiing.
